5.0Refreshing Mountain(1.333 reviews) - Fun 5 Package Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 AM Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks • Sightseeing Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Horseback Riding Tours
We had a wonderful experience at Refreshing Mountain. The cabins were clean, the pedal cars, zip lining, and outdoor tree adventure were so much fun. However, we purchased the Fun 5 pack and by the time we finished three of the activities, the reptile room and farm animal experience were closed for tours. We were not able to reschedule, since everything was booked during our stay. This was disappointing. As a party of 10, we felt a credit or refund should be given.See more..
4.5Penn's Cave(784 reviews) - Such a unique experience! Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Boat Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
This was a stop with three adults and two children under 7 for the boat tour only. The only reason why a star was docked is because the childrens’ admission price should not be over $10! The adult admission is pricey, but I understand they’re trying to make money. The boat tour was a good 45 minutes and we got to see amazing views. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and punny. That’s right, punny, not funny! Tip: Do not take very young children on this tour; if they cry you can’t stand up in the boat to console them. Also, their cries will echo through the cave and ruin the experience for others. The tour guide was hard to hear anyway the further away you were from him and the motor.See more..
4.5Wilderness Voyageurs(563 reviews) - Rock Solid Michigan Cycling Adventure Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Bike Tours • Climbing Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
This was my first guided group cycling adventure and I can’t say enough good things about the 6 day Michigan Islands, Trails, & Dunes Bicycle Tour. The guides (‘Team Dave’) were helpful, informative, friendly, humorous, and worked extremely well together and always in sync. They made sure everyone was comfortable and that the bikes were in good working order. They were always smiling and upbeat and provided plenty of support stops each day. The lodging was excellent and the included meals were healthy with plenty of choices for every taste. I especially loved the rotisserie chicken to be used in a choice of salads and/or sandwiches. The tour offered the perfect mix of group and on-our-own meals. Mackinac Island is a gem of a bygone era, and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is spectacular. Petoskey, along the shores of Traverse Bay, offers gorgeous sunsets by the pier. I loved the little towns we cycled through, especially the vacation cottages and homes along Crystal Lake to Beulah on Day 6. We flew into Traverse City and I recommend staying an extra day to experience all this town has to offer – antique shops, ice cream, great restaurants, lakeside parks, famers’ market, and shops. The Michigan weather in August was perfect with 80F degree days & 60F degree evenings. Again, kudos to Wilderness Voyageurs and ‘Team Dave’ for a delightful cycling vacation.See more..

My fiance, myself and my 9 year old daughter all live within 30 minutes of Lancaster and have experienced most of the Amish experiences (which are not really authentic), but this experience was different, I finally had the opportunity to sit down to a home cooked meal by a wonderful Amish woman and have a great conversation with the family. My 9 year old loved joining the kids in a soccer game after dinner. Phil was our guide and was so knowledgeable about the area and the Amish. I can't wait to take more of LoKals excursions. What a great way to spend the evening! Thanks so much Phil!See more..
5.0Sacred Rides Michaux(10 reviews) - Great Ride and Knowledgeable Guide Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Bike Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
Mike from Sacred Rides is a top tier guide that provided a wonderful day of riding the best single track in Michaux State Forest. A well designed ride, varied terrain, and a delicious lunch. Our group had so much fun we stayed in the parking lot post ride with Mike and Erin, relaxing, snacking, and discussing the days adventures for another hour despite just meeting that morning. I highly recommend Sacred Rides for anyone coming to the area and wanting to have fun on the trails.See more..

The day commenced with am amazing dinner cooked over an open flame by Cody himself. We will be back again for another adventure.See more..
5.0SOF Adventures Navy SEAL/Ranger/SF and Other Veteran Guided Adventures(2 reviews) - Great adventure with Chief Mike & SOF Adventures! River Rafting & Tubing • Adrenaline & Extreme Tours • Climbing Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing
Great adventure with Chief Mike & SOF Adventures! With the excessive amount of time we had been spending in the house, we wanted to get out and do something different. We went camping with our friends and families on a mountain in Pennsylvania. Chief Mike led the way with an awesome turnkey expedition. We really enjoyed it, and even our kids felt a great sense of confidence and achievement, learned some new skills, along with the added bonus regarding the importance of responsibility and teamwork. Our kids were inspired, and also a bit in awe of Chief Mike and his capabilities and know-how (we all were...) and have a huge respect level for him. -Jamie McCollum, Malvern, PASee more..

My wife and I took this tour durning the end of peak fall foliage and we had a great time. The staff are very friendy and caring as they provided blankets on the wagaon and everyone used them as weather said low 50's but was more like low 40's and when your on a wagaon for two hours it gets cold. We were dressed for it but some folks had light jackets on and were very cold even with the blankets so dress warm. The wagons did have padded seats and were open on both sides. The guide was very friendly and provided local history and what wildlife was in the area. Did not see any bald eagles but did see where the nest was. The only thing that could be better would be the restrooms as they were not the best and could of been cleaner.See more..
