  10. 5.0 Adventure Park (16 reviews)
    - Our family loves this park!
    Playgrounds
    Adventure Park image
Adventure Park is a great play destination. My kids love climbing all over the structures, most of which are composite, rather than wood, which means no splinters! As a mom, I appreciate the cushioned flooring surface and that there is only one entrance/exit to the play area. The large pavilion adjacent to the play area is a bonus. Every time I've been to the park, the bathrooms have always been very clean. I have yet to use the fitness area of the park, and am looking forward to the completion of the walking path. One thing that would make this park exceed even the excellent rating I gave it is if they installed a "splash pad." Then it would truly be a one-stop park in the summer heat! See more..

Jumpin Jack’s Inflatable Playland & Party Center image
I took my 3 year old son here recently for an open bounce session. What's nice is that they have regular open bounce hours. The day we went, open hours were from 10-3 and it only cost $12 for my son. This is much better than the local bounce-u which is $10 for one hour. There were 8 different, large bounce houses, a small arcade, party rooms and other table areas where you can eat. They have a snack bar that serves chips, dogs, pizzas, drinks, etc. and pricing is fairly reasonable. The area was clean, and most of the games and bounce houses were in good shape. Both my son and I had a blast. I would strongly encourage this for a fun afternoon out with the kids. See more..
  17. 4.5 Jumpers Family Fun Zone (10 reviews)
    - Rainy Day Fun for Kids - Or Any Other Day
Spent 2-3 hours Playgrounds • Game & Entertainment Centers
    Jumpers Family Fun Zone image
We stopped in with our kids a few days back during a rainy day. The kids love it! For the bigger kids, they have two large moon bounces with slides, as well as a large slide and a fun house for them to climb through. For little kids (three and under) there is also a little kid moon bounce near the front. For adults...there are a number of benches to sit down and relax. If you decide to stop in on a rainy day, its reasonable: about $8 per kid. But it is also great for parties - we have been there for several to date, and the kids always love it. The staff is also incredibly friendly. The location is easy to find as well - its in a small industrial strip just across from Ridley Creek State Park's entrance. Definitely a great and reasonable activity for the kids, especially on a rainy day. See more..

  24. 5.0 Chatter Splatter Playgroup (4 reviews)
    - Great time with my 1.5 year old
    Spent 2-3 hours Playgrounds
    Chatter Splatter Playgroup image
I met up with a friend on a weekday afternoon and had a BLAST with my 16 month old. She was able to run and play on so many different things and had a great time. You even get a free snack and juice. I think its weird that my friend had to pay for her baby, like baby that can't do anything, but it was great for me. Also, there is a turf field with those black pellets all over and I am not sure if anyone has looked into the safety of that with little kids as my daughter kept trying to eat them. This place is a repurposed athletic training facility hence the soccer field. Anyway, the place has lots of things you may have at home: Activity tables and outdoor playsets, but they have tons of them. There are also just lots of great spaces to run around and play with balls and geometric shaped mats (not sure what to call them). Great value for an indoor place in bad weather! See more..

    Washington Park image
We haven’t visited this park in many years but went recently for a photo shoot. It’s actually a really beautiful park with many scenic areas for photography. They have a few pavilions you can rent for events. I thought the stone pavilion was by far the most beautiful. They also have a few playgrounds here, tennis court, outdoor pool and in the winter ice skating. See more..
  29. 4.0 Ashbridge Memorial Park (1 review)
    - Toddlers, Older Kids and Space to Walk
    Spent 1-2 hours Playgrounds
This is a decent little playground venue on the Main Line in those suburbs west of Philadelphia. We are just so fortunate to have wonderful places in our area for children that are also good places for a little stroll. Ashbridge is just one of those many good spots. And when done with fooling around, Rosemont, Bryn Mawr and the whole area is a mecca for fine restaurants, shops, college lectures and generally fine college and university campuses. See more..
  30. 5.0 Voila! Children's Art and Creativity Center (1 review)
    - Ice Fest
Paint & Pottery Studios • Playgrounds
Voila! Children's Art and Creativity Center image
We stopped in during the “free play/craft” period where there was a per-hour fee for any play/crafts made. There were a variety of crafts to choose from, including painting, beads & pipe cleaners, tracings & coloring, and more. There is also a play area with kitchen and more. There’s play-dough and kinetic sand too, that was fun. There is a large area upstairs for classes I heard, but I didn’t see it. There were clearly “regulars” that stopped in, plus newbies like us. My 6-yr old grandson enjoyed himself. You could easily spend 1-2 hours here. They also offer classes, so check those out if you’re interested-including sewing classes. See more..

we found this playground while driving through the area and were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was and the variety of swings, slides, bouncy seats, see-saw, spin go round, jungle gym and even a small zip-line! Jack King Park image
This has to be one of my favorites simply because of its merry go round type jawn, lol. Has a cute little playground with swings and climbing thingy as well. It also has an awesome paved walking/nature trail that is stroller friendly. Definitely doable for little ones as well. Parking was pretty good. Went in the evening around 5-6pm. 33. 3.0 Iroquois Park (1 review)
    - A few people...
    Spent < 1 hour Parks • Playgrounds
    Iroquois Park image
...here today: three guys playing basketball, a family with kids riding bikes. You know, I saw some different guys playing ball at another court too on my way here. Are these people for real? Why don't they care? I mean they're not doing anything wrong: just enjoying a late hour or two of sunshine. Playing ball with your buddies ain't social distancing though. This is a nice, little small neighborhood park at the end of a cul-de-sac. The got that basketball court where those guys should be playing alone. They also got a bench and a playground jungle gym thing. If you're a tourist, there is no reason to come here; there has got to be something of more interest to you than this little place. If you leave live nearby, it can be accessed by entrance to the Galleria of Mt Lebanon on Gilkeson Rd at the end of the mall where Houlihan's Restaurant is. Just head down the hill on the sidewalk and you'll see it. See more..
  34. 4.0 Valley Playland (1 review)

    Valley Playland image
We have taken our children and now our grandchildren to Valley Playland. See more..
  35. 3.0 The Little Pod (1 review)
    - Can be crowded
Friday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Playgrounds
Can be crowded with THREE birthday parties AND open play all at the same time. That was a disappointment, considering the space The Little Pod occupies - just right, but not with all those kids. Clean, kid had fun with the jungle gym and bounce house, and there's a separate inflatable for younger kids as well as a separate climber and a block-assembly area (but careful: There's a basketball hoop in the block-assembly area as well.) Some arcade games, with tickets for the most part put on the game card - so don't throw away those cards even with no money on them! Clean bathrooms as well. Like that pizza and arcade place, all members of your party get a wristband which is checked when you leave. See more..

  37. 4.0 Negley Park (1 review)
    - A very nice park that over-looks the city of Harrisburg
    Parks • Playgrounds
Negley park is a very nice park that over-looks the city of Harrisburg. There are baseball fields, tennis courts and of course play ground equipment. It is a great place to watch fireworks, but come early it gets very crowded and the road is very narrow . Plus many people walk to the park so be very careful if you drive up to the park during firework evenings See more..
