My fiance, myself and my 9 year old daughter all live within 30 minutes of Lancaster and have experienced most of the Amish experiences (which are not really authentic), but this experience was different, I finally had the opportunity to sit down to a home cooked meal by a wonderful Amish woman and have a great conversation with the family. My 9 year old loved joining the kids in a soccer game after dinner. Phil was our guide and was so knowledgeable about the area and the Amish. I can't wait to take more of LoKals excursions. Vince, Theresa & Cait are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! For my husband's 40th, he wanted to go to Kentucky to tour the bourbon trail, however, due to Covid, it didn't work out. Thanks to the Bourbon U team, we were able to bring the Bourbon Trail to him! I was able to surprise him with the tasting as the main event for his birthday party. The Bourbon U team delighted all of our guests (~30) with an incredible tasting experience. We have received endless compliments. The team went completely above and beyond. They were of course extremely educational, but also very kind, thoughtful and truly took their time with the guests. I can't wait for an opportunity to get to work with this team again! Had a great time there on Friday night, my first time visiting. Great live music being played, industrial/hip/comfy vibe, crowded but not crazy packed. Also kid-friendly. Didn't have a beer that I didn't enjoy, and thought the cheesesteak egg rolls and wings were both very solid. The bartenders were friendly, knowledgeable and quick with a recommendation. Good selection of brews - I thought the kolsch and the amber were very drinkable, and I liked the GameDay IPA in cans as a finisher before I moved on for the evening. Great times - thanks! See more..
