We took a 5 day trip to the Great Lakes and Mackinac Island. It was fabulous. We visited the Henry Ford Museum, Thunder Bay Resort, with a horse drawn carriage ride to view the Elks and a 5 course dinner at the dinning cabin. We had the Best host Brett. He exceeded our expectations as a host. Our Bus Driver Ted was excellent. We had some rain storms and he got us through it all. The hotels, food and attractions that Benedict's Bus Service arranged for us were supurb and we wanted for nothing. This is not the first trip we have taken with Benedict's and it certainly will not be our last. Thank you Brett and Ted for the wonderful experience. We will remember it for a long time. See more..

Obie's is a small store on the main road so you can pass it without realizing. Use GPS and pull up in front of store to park. The store carries locally hand sewn pot holders at a fraction of the price of other County stores. Also children's soft back, hand sewn books, and quilts and fabrics. Again, it is a tiny store but worth a stop. See more..
