My husband and I did the two and a half tour and had a great time! Plenty of room to roam around safely. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with questions. Views were absolutely stunning. It is highly recommended that you bring your sunscreen and reapply if you are planning to spend time on the top deck! Professional pictures are offered before you board but unfortunately they only offer it as a pkg deal. We would have been more than happy to buy a single photo Overall the experience is highly recommended!See more..
We took the 3h tour on a beautiful day. On the USA side it's better because they can go and visit the castle while on the Canadian border you can only see it from the boat. Still, it is beautiful scenery and great place to take pictures. I will not recommend the 3h tour for children, they will get bored very fast. Not a huge crowed that day so it was great from this point of view. People were pretty quiet and in their bubble, which was good.See more..
4.5Blue Heron Cruises(439 reviews) - Drop-off and Scenic cruises amazing Monday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Boat Tours
We arrived early in Tobermory and were able to change our cruise reservation to avoid poor weather the next day. They were great in helping us with rescheduling. We enjoyed the 4:15 cruise on July 10 which was a direct drop-off to Flowerpot Island. The cruise back to Tobermory left at 6:55. We enjoyed watching the scenery from the bow both to and from the island. On our final day in Tobermory, we took an extended non-stop scenic cruise on July 12 at 10:50. We chose Blue Heron based on recommendations from family and definitely recommend.See more..
The cruise and tour was very nice. Expensive but all the other companies are the same price and I think this boat was much nicer compacted to the other companies. We did the stay aboard and we are glad we didn’t get off to go on flower pot island. I was expecting flower pot to be more exciting but there was really only one big rock to look at and nothing else. The boat went over one of the shipwrecks which was awesome being able to see it through the glass bottom. They are pet friendly and offer free parking as well. The staff were all very nice but the man who booked us 30 min before departure told us only 15 people were booked however that wasn’t the case as it was about 75 people on board. I recommend sitting downstairs because you can’t see anything on the top deck as everyone stands up and blocks the view. The boat was noisy but comfortable. Wouldn’t do it again but it was a nice hour on the water.See more..
The Rockport Cruises 1000 Islands cruise was very enjoyable and relaxing. It was scenic and we loved cruising past magnificent properties such as the Boldt Castle. The castle is a 120 room castle that George Boldt was building for his wife until her untimely death. It was never completed. The property also included an entry arch, power plant, Alster tower (children’s playhouse) and a yacht house on another island. The cruise was one of our favorite activities on our tour of Eastern Canada. We highly recommend taking this cruise when it reopens in the spring.See more..
Tour booked for three hour cruise with family (7 of us). Mother’s 99th birthday gift to us! It was wonderful, beautiful day to take in all the sites and loads of pictures! Going through the ‘cut’ was very interesting, only 17’ draft as picture shows above. Nice to sit and take in the scenery and relax. Staff was very helpful with our Mom as she uses a walker and finds it difficult to maneuver the gangway. At the end of the cruise they surprised us by announcing her 99th birthday over the com, brought a nice smile to her face. The ship is well appointed, safety issues gone over prior to departure, COVID rules followed and enforced, and staff very informative re history of the area. There is a snack bar on board with light refreshments. This would be a gorgeous trip in the fall as the trees change colour. Glad we got to share this cruise with a special ladySee more..
Booked the Tobermory Wave a few days before we visited Tobermory and as it turns out, we were so glad we did. It’s a smaller vessel compared to their completion and that allows for a totally different tour. The guide was very pleasant and accommodating. He was very knowledgeable about the area. The captain/owner did a fantastic job of getting us in close on all the stops along the tour allowing for the best photos possible. The boat has padded seats too! I highly recommend this tour if you want to see flowerpot island, the grotto and all the really spectacular rock and cave formations along the shores of Georgian Bay.See more..
We had a wedding on this boat! You can book it for special occasions and they do it up nicely with covers for the chairs, reorganized seating, etc. They even provide some nibbles to go along with the cash bar. There were 32 of us and not a one was unimpressed with the event. You travel through a regular historic lock, then go and down in the famous liftlocks in Peterborough. Your captain, Grant, is a great commentator, and gives loads of local colour and even an explanation of the locks that satisfies engineers. We took it as a regular cruise to suss it out and between the trip and the commentary, it was great. Only issue during wedding cruise was a bit of wind which made it a little hard to hear. Great fun, though.See more..
4.5Voyageur Quest(91 reviews) - An easy way to ignore e-mails, and watch the World Cup! Multi-day Tours • Boat Tours • Eco Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours
We finally returned to Voyageur Quest from overseas after 4 years: minus one child, plus one girlfriend, and both hospitality and the weather didn't let us down. Nor did the internet! The recent addition of internet access may not have kept the e-mails away, that is a matter of pure willpower, but it did allow us to watch Messi's magic, as Argentina easily defeated Croatia in Qatar. Most memorable was the sound of the lake singing and groaning through the night. Thanks so much to John and team for their hospitality. After several weeks of a whirlwind trip through Quebec and Ontario, skiing and visiting family and friends, the boss said this was definitely the highlight and her favourite part of the trip.See more..
Our party used Algonquin Outfitters for our canoe requirements. The booking process online had a mysterious fee. I sent an email to them and it was a booking fee that the third party online booker charges for that convenience. I suggest contacting Algonquin Outfitters directly to book your equipment as it is a pleasant experience and you save the booking fee. Great gear, clean, check in and out was efficient. Returning the gear was seamless (maybe putting the steps on a sign outside might help, but not needed). Friendly faces greeted us at the start and at the end of our paddle.See more..
5.0Diverse Rentals & Vacations(65 reviews) - great customer service Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Ski & Snow Tours • Boat Tours • Boat Rentals • Speed Boats Tours • Stand Up Paddleboarding
We had rented a boat for a weekend and when we arrived at our Airbnb, the dock from the pictures wasn't there. We were to pick up the boat the next morning with nowhere to dock the boat. When I called to cancel it was within 24 hours of pick up so by rules, I was to lose the complete boat rental order. Jill was very understanding and accommodating in making our vacation better. Instead of charging us full price, she only charged the deposit as let us use that money towards rending a floating pad so we could have some sort of "dock" at our cottage rental. We will use them again on our next visit and would recommend them to anyone looking to add some fun to their holidays.See more..
This 2 hour private boat ride was a highlight of our trip. Brent and Moira made us feel extremely comfortable from the start with the 'House Rules' and also with letting us know the safety features of the boat and their experience and qualifications for sailing first aid and fire safety. We were able to bring food and drink and they also allowed us use of their speaker so we could play our music. They showed us how to move around the boat safely so that we could make the most of the ride. Moira was super attentive and would top up our drinks and bring us whatever we needed. She even acted as our personal photographer and got some really nice shots of us all. I would highly recommend this tour, not just for the tour but also the service. Moira and Brent are just the best! This was a first but definitely not a last!See more..
5.0Rideau Tours(45 reviews) - Best way to discover the Rideau Canal Monday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Boat Tours • Walking Tours • Gear Rentals • Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing
We booked this tour in March 2021 with Anne-Marie, 4 of us (2 couples) This is the best way to discover the Rideau canal, in kayak. The Rideau canal is not only for the big boats. There is a way to discover it at your own pace without meeting to many motor boats Paddling between the Upper Brewer lock and Newboro lock with a very nice and cosy chalet for 3 nights at Chaffeys Lock. (50 km total) Everything was perfect. Anne-Marie's attention to details is phenomenal. She is fluent in both French and English. Very flexible and understanding of our changing needs throughout the week.See more..
5.0Ottawa River Adventures(35 reviews) - 1/2 Day Fishing, Rapid Riding & Cliff Jumping Boat Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours
Visiting Canada to see family and fancied doing something fun in the water and Bill came highly recommended. Considering I had never fished or jumped off a cliff before, Bill made it great fun. Next time over the spring when the rapids are higher......See more..
The boat needs a bit of attention but was adequate for the 3 1/2 hour cruise around a few of the 30'000 islands. Good value for money and prices are very reasonable for the cruise and the food and drink on board. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only goes on a Wed and Saturday and Sunday.See more..
5.0COSMOS Yacht Charters(14 reviews) - Peace and harmony in natural surroundings, adventure and activities galore. Immerse in world-class fresh water sailing. Boat Tours
Our two teenage boys rated this as a top holiday and that commendation does not come easily! Bill and Linda provided a well maintained sailboat and excellent local knowledge to the cruising grounds, including many hidden gems. Georgian Bay is a boater’s paradise, and Cosmos Yacht Charters made it accessible and welcoming. We will be back!See more..
2.5Georgian Spirit Cruises.(7 reviews) - Would not recommend this cruise Monday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM Boat Tours • Beer Tastings & Tours • Day Trips
We took the 3 hour tour this past week and enjoyed the pretty views. It was a relaxing way to see Georgian Bay from a different perspective. I'm giving it 3 stars because the captain smoked multiple times during the cruise! This is supposed to be a non smoking cruise and the smell was nauseating and disgusting! My husband mentioned it to a crew member, and she said the captain smokes on board whenever he wants to, and if passengers light up he doesn't stop them. Very uncool and unprofessional! Before we even boarded, we had to walk thru a cloud of smoke as the captain was sitting and smoking by the line to board the boat. We spent over $100 and were pretty disgusted by the smoking thru out the duration of the cruise. For this reason, I would not recommend Georgian Spirit Cruises.See more..
5.0Landmark Cruises(2 reviews) - A Relaxing afternoon excursion with some history lessons Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Boat Tours • Private Tours • Food Tours • Day Trips
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. The captain's family has been in the area for generations and he shared a lot of interesting history, native folklore and current day goings on in the area. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing afternoon and a history lesson about the area. We were there on a very hot and sunny day and were thankful for the lower deck to catch some shade occasionally while still enjoying the view and commentary. All of the staff were very friendly.See more..
3.0C.W. Marine & Powersports(2 reviews) - winter vacation in toronto Monday: 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Adrenaline & Extreme Tours • Surfing & Windsurfing • Boat Tours • Waterskiing & Jetskiing • Fishing Charters & Tours • Gear Rentals • Private Tours • Speed Boats Tours • Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing
Great place for ice fishing. Close to Toronto. Minutes off from the 404. My son had a great time. If you have an SUV with winter tires equipped you can drive onto the lake yourself or they have snowmobiles to take your party over to the huts. There’s quite a few fish in the lake too so you shouldn’t be left disappointed.See more..

I absolutely love Canada’s Wonderland. I’ve had so many great memories here. I have waited 2 years to come back, and it was totally worth it! The lines aren’t longer than they used to, and although some stands are not open, the rides are still super fun and enjoyable! Definitely suggest getting a season pass if you love rides, it’s such a great deal! Thank you so much to all the workers at Wonderland to make this possible :)See more..
