Played mini golf was ok needs some repair $10 each the front desk was very nice and helpful got our room at noon and check out late 2pm . Food was limited to a coffee shop and a restaurant tried gong for dinner but only take out at 7pm was disappointing drove somewhere to eat. Our room was nice very spacious comfortable beds and clean recently renovated . Overall was a good stay a bit dated but still good time only complaint was the food no where to eat 7pm take out only. My sister and I rented the main lodge for a Halloween party where were hosted around 50 guests. Everyone had a fantastic time! The cozy cabins housed everyone comfortably, and the industrial kitchen was wonderful for cooking meals. We played baseball on one of the many fields under a beautiful oak tree, and mountain biked on their extensive trail system. There was plenty of room in the lodge for dancing, and a lovely wood stove to keep us warm. Another family member has booked her wedding at Mansfield Outdoor Center, and I can't wait to go back! On my quest to do every last trail in the Caledon area (I'll be fit as a fiddle when I'm done), I stumbled upon this one on the website. Suited up, took the motorcycle out, and the parking lot had all of 3 cars. Two of the cars left as I was changing into trail gear. I'm posting pictures too, because people need to know what a pretty place this is. The hike is easy, and a loop. There's a section that runs along the water, and another offering a vantage point. The vantage point is not very high at all, so it's a nice short walk down to the water. Photo opps abound. It was a gorgeous day, the kind with sun and clouds, and a light sports jacket cool. There are benches too for weary feet. It's the perfect quiet easy hike. Love that it's in my neck of the woods. See more..
