This beautiful waterfront park in Downtown Kingston has plenty of photo-worthy spots and is a must-see for tourists. Located right across Kingston City Hall, Confederation Park is the home of the "I in Kingston" 3D sign, Engine 1095 locomotive as well as Kingston's Visitor Information Centre. The arch fountain which occupies the centre of the park serves as a good foreground when taking scenic photos of Kingston City Hall. The park also has several full-size illuminated picture frame installations (photo booths) that look spectacular at dusk. There are plenty of benches to sit on. Face the water and you'll get a good view of the marina and the historic Shoal Tower. There is even a cute but fake lighthouse that serves as the Confederation Basin Marina office. See more..

We found this beautiful park. We could walk around a fountain in the lake. There were huge stones to sit on. The highlight was the fountain. There were trees as well. Great for hiking! We certainly liked that park! Great for walking and enjoying the view. The fountain was the best of all. Wow! Worthwhile to see! See more..
