4.5Springbank Park(474 reviews) - Beautiful setting Spent 1-2 hours Nature & Wildlife Areas • Parks • Playgrounds
I travel across the city just to walk in this park because it's so peaceful, even with the odd biker and other people. Your walk, from the Guy Lombardo museum and heading south, takes you right along the riverside, so a very relaxing view with geese, ducks and other birds here and there, and benches along the way for a rest. I love it.See more..

We had our son's 7th birthday party here in November. We booked it on a Wednesday night for 2 reasons, first weeknight parties are generally quieter (fewer walk in patrons) plus it is less expensive. The whole process was quick, easy and as painless as could be expected for a kids party LOL!See more..

My wife and I were camping about 20 minutes away and were looking for a beach that was dog friendly. We stumbled on this park and was pleasantly surprised. Our dog was allowed on the grass but not the same or swimming, which was fine for us. Only down side is there is a bit of a walk from the parking with a good sized hill in between also the washrooms are a bit far from the beach itself. See more..

3.5Joey's World Family Indoor Playground(24 reviews) - Great for 3 to 7 years old. Spent 2-3 hours Playgrounds • Game & Entertainment Centers My daughter loves Joey's World. It's a great place to let your kids burn off some steam especially over the winter months. I don't understand why there are some reviews stating "you have to remove footwear" of course you have to remove footwear it's an indoor playground. The facility is fairly clean given that it's full of "germ generating toddlers." It's no different that a daycare facility. The food is expensive, but nothing says you have to purchase it. I have never had an issue bringing my own snacks for my daughter. The bad reviews are unwarranted.See more..

4.5Totoredaca Leash-Free Dog Park(13 reviews) - Best leash-free in Mississauga Spent 1-2 hours Nature & Wildlife Areas • Parks • Playgrounds We went out this weekend to Totoredaca Leash-Free park with our standard poodle. This was our first time there, but I have to say I was IMPRESSED. The park was really well-maintained and the atmosphere was great. From my experience with leash-free dog parks, the most important assets that make one a success are: -> Cool features (like doggie pools, sand pits, trails, and ideally agility training equipment) -> Well-maintained park in general -> Places for both humans and dogs to play -> Places for both humans and dogs to rest -> Popularity. Where there's dogs there's more dogs. This park had 'em all! It has a very cottage and country-life feel to it. Not to mention that there were a whole lot of dogs and people there! There's places to rest in the shade, wooden benches for humans, and even seasonal agility training equipment! Highly recommend, as this is probably top of the list in terms of leash-free dog parks in Mississauga!See more..

4.0De La Salle Park(4 reviews) - Hibachi by the water Parks • Playgrounds
De La Salle facing Franklin Beach is the main “public” area of Georgina’s Lake Simcoe. It has a nice grassy area and playground, which is normally crowded on weekends. The beach access is nice and somewhat sandy across the street, but parking is limited to residents of the area with passes. The nearest pay-lot is at the convenience store at the corner of Kennedy, which is monitored by police. However, from Churchill Lane near there to about 6 km East, beach access is “private property.” Since I carry bikes, I found free parking in Jackson’s Point town at De Geer and Lake Drive East, beside Lakeside Pizzeria & Gelateria. Hopefully families can visit and enjoy De La Salle at Lake Simcoe without issues finding parking or washroom facilities during pandemic.See more..

3.5Kids World(4 reviews) - Awesome place but can be pricy Playgrounds
We have been here a few times. Each time my kids beg to go back. Now that they’ve recently changed there rates to include unlimited trampoline we will stop by more often before that we were paying about 60 bucks for 3 kids that only included half an hour on the trampoline as my kids are 9 and up the jungle gym section is not really geared for there age. I would recommend making sure you eat before going as there selection of food is not very great. Hopefully as this business grows (they have only been in Carleton place for a year) they will continue to listen to customer feed back and continue to be an affordable, clean fun place where kids (and adults) can go to play.See more..

5.0Sacha's Park(1 review) - A unique playground for children of all abilities Playgrounds
Sacha's Park is an extremely unique playground where accessibility and inclusion are the main focus. The idea for the park was inspired by a young boy from L’Orignal named Sacha who had multiple disabilities and couldn't play in traditional playgrounds. After Sacha passed away in 2014, the community rallied to build a playground where children like him would be able to play with everyone else. Sacha's Park features accessible play structures, a splash pad, and sensory elements that cater to children of all abilities. This is by far the most accessible and inclusive playground in Canada! It is truly a place "where EVERYONE can play" .See more..
