Tour booked for three hour cruise with family (7 of us). Mother’s 99th birthday gift to us! It was wonderful, beautiful day to take in all the sites and loads of pictures! Going through the ‘cut’ was very interesting, only 17’ draft as picture shows above. Nice to sit and take in the scenery and relax. Staff was very helpful with our Mom as she uses a walker and finds it difficult to maneuver the gangway. At the end of the cruise they surprised us by announcing her 99th birthday over the com, brought a nice smile to her face. The ship is well appointed, safety issues gone over prior to departure, COVID rules followed and enforced, and staff very informative re history of the area. We highly recommend this tour! Different actors/characters who board the bus and you meet along the way, portray in an informative and humorous way, what life was like during the prohibition days. Once back at the "speakeasy" hall, we enjoyed a delicious lunch while listening to a band play music from the era. The actors put on a show after lunch that was full of music, LOTS and LOTS of laughs and singing. If you live in the Windsor area or are just visiting, we highly recommend this tour! Had another amazing adventure (Cape to coasteering) with these guys. Spatactular 4km walk from Smith's Beach to Wyadup Rock, great views crazy like minded company. At Wyadup we donned our wetsuits and safety gear, then we were off to do some rock hopping and water fun where we got to jump off & run down the rock and drag ourselves out of the water. We had the best ATV tour with Lisa and Steve at Outdoors Adventures. We don't have a lot of atv experience but we have been on other tours with other companies, and nothing compares with Outdoor Adventures. Lisa and Steve were only concerned with giving us the ultimate outdoor experience and sharing in the excitement with us. We rode through a culvert, and through a river, and even had the choice to try the mud pit (one of us got stuck, and it wasn't me!). We took the 3 hour tour this past week and enjoyed the pretty views. It was a relaxing way to see Georgian Bay from a different perspective. I'm giving it 3 stars because the captain smoked multiple times during the cruise! This is supposed to be a non smoking cruise and the smell was nauseating and disgusting! My husband mentioned it to a crew member, and she said the captain smokes on board whenever he wants to, and if passengers light up he doesn't stop them. Very uncool and unprofessional! Before we even boarded, we had to walk thru a cloud of smoke as the captain was sitting and smoking by the line to board the boat. We spent over $100 and were pretty disgusted by the smoking thru out the duration of the cruise. For this reason, I would not recommend Georgian Spirit Cruises.See more..

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. The captain's family has been in the area for generations and he shared a lot of interesting history, native folklore and current day goings on in the area. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing afternoon and a history lesson about the area. We were there on a very hot and sunny day and were thankful for the lower deck to catch some shade occasionally while still enjoying the view and commentary. My wife and I went to Mad Rivers beautiful new location in Calabogie right on the Madawaska River. The staff (Kevin, Sherri, Tana) were very helpful and outfitted us and others with kayaks and helped us get in and sent us off. We had a nice trip on the lake and into Grassy Bay. They have a big selection of kayaks and SUPs to rent and for sale and snacks, drinks and merchandise inside their cabin. They have ebikes too which looked like a lot of fun on the trail system up there. The K&P rail trail is about 100 metres away. Great service, fun and adventure. I highly recommend trying this out.See more..
We make an annual trek to pick blueberries for baking, eating and freezing. The farm is off 401 @ the West Lorne exit about a 1/2 hour west of London. It has been owned by Sandra & Dennis Fischer for many years and the blueberries are prolific for a short time in July and August. Frozen berries are available in the off season. There are picnic tables, shade trees, a porta potty and lots of parking. The family is friendly and helpful. They give you a lined bucket and take you to a row with lots of berries. They are high bush and picking is SO easy, we had 13 lbs. in no time. They are weighed and sold by the pound. The berries are quite large and perfect for homemade pies, bars and cakes!See more..

We spent a day on the e-bikes and were able to see a lot more of this beautiful area with the added assistance! The bikes were comfortable and the power assist made it a very enjoyable ride. The hills in the area can be challenging but a little help from the e-bike made it as easy (or as hard) as we wanted. Excellent service from Deanne and her staff!
