First Ontario Centre is a wonderful place to see a concert. Much prefer to the ACC or Rogers Centre. A bit smaller, easliy located in downtown Hamilton, and easy to exit and get home when it is all over. If you ever get a chance to see Shania live you are in for a treat. Probaly the best concert and production that I have ever seen See more..

  6. 4.0 Meridian Centre (77 reviews)
    - One great building, atmosphere!

    Meridian Centre image
Got to watch an OHL game between Niagara and Barrie. Other than the side concourses being on the smallish side, I was really impressed with the Meridan Centre. I would catch a game there anytime. The sound system was great, the video board was solid. The fans sold out the building and were passionate about their team! It was an excellent mid sized arena. Food options were good, the nachos and cheese were delicious, though a tad skimpy on the cheese. The foot long hot dogs were juicy and tasty. The Dog Store lacked a bit, it was small and seemed like an afterthought almost. That said, the game and the food and drink were ample. I would say the Meridan Centre is an excellent venue to watch an OHL game!, See more..

Came here for a company softball tournament. There are lots of fields and they are all in great shape. The place could use a few more nice washrooms as there were a lot portable units. You can use the washrooms in the arena but that can be a bit of a haul depending on which field you are on. See more..
  8. 4.0 Paramount Fine Foods Centre (50 reviews)
    - Good Venue for Sports

    Paramount Fine Foods Centre image
This Arena has always been good to see a hockey game. Luckily the team is very good right now but unfortunately it still does not draw enough fans to have great atmosphere. The sight lines are good and there is plenty of seating. Most importantly the food is concessions are pretty good and good choice of snacks and drinks. Also this is one of the few remaining arenas that (thanks to Don Cherry) still have a portrait of the Queen hanging up. Lots of parking outside and very easy to get to. Would like to see a concert here as well. See more..

I'm a season's ticket holder for the Guelph Storm, so visit the Centre 40 odd times a year. It is one of the better rinks in Ontario, good sight lines, good amenities. The sports bar is good and the service great. I recommend, at games, the $10 freshly carved roast beef on a bun, very good. See more..

On Saturday March the 6th I picked up the Barrie Colt's Dinner Deal. It was packaged nicely and had tons of romaine to make ceasar salad. (Everything was included to make a fresh salad.) We also had a nice steak, brocolli, baked potato and soda. (Butter and delicious sour cream included.) It was easy to get into and the staff were extremly FRIENDLY. It was well worth it. It was friendly curbside pickup. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Lillian Draper See more..

Heading to a Pete’s game and no time to stop and eat? Get seats in the PMC Pub & Grill and eat while watching the maroon and white play. Restaurant is located at the visitors end and offers a decent menu with your typical pub fare (burgers, fries, wings, nachos, salads, etc). I had the burger and fries which were ok, my wife had a garden salad with sliced chicken breast on top. She said the salad was excellent! Including a beer and tip was under 50 bucks. The seats row D/E/F have a half counter in front for holding drinks, plates, etc. Would sit and eat here again. See more..
