The tour was very interesting and we really recommend going on it, we also thought it was nice how they had chairs you could sit on while they had people who previously worked there tell us about events and how the prison worked at the time. However we think they should either have a separate tour for kids under 13 or you shouldn't be able to bring them because it ruins the experience for others if the tour guide can't talk about more 'sensitive' topics or go into detail about certain events because of the younger audience. (The last time I went it was a tour bus of older people so the stories were detailed.)See more..

Our guide was Jack, who was entertaining and kept us chuckling as he was introducing us to the fascinating past of the city. We saw, from the outside, the Kinston Penitentiary, Bellevue House, Queen University, Fort Henry along with the Kingston's historical corners. We highly recommend this tour! Different actors/characters who board the bus and you meet along the way, portray in an informative and humorous way, what life was like during the prohibition days. Once back at the "speakeasy" hall, we enjoyed a delicious lunch while listening to a band play music from the era. The actors put on a show after lunch that was full of music, LOTS and LOTS of laughs and singing. If you live in the Windsor area or are just visiting, we highly recommend this tour! We are looking forward to doing more tours and may even do this one again! We had so much fun!See more..

After riding my cruiser at Kelso and winding up with a flat tire, we Googled a bike repair shop and found Eric at Canal City Cycle. He accommodated our schedule (we were RV-ing and unfamiliar with the area) and got my tire repaired in no time. He also made a few tweaks to be sure I'd be safe on the road (brakes and gear issues). We‘ve lived in Orangeville and yet this tour/puzzle game gave us a chance to learn so much more about this great little town. We also ended up in stores that we would never had made the time to go into left to our own devices. Such fun finds! A really Neat way to explore your own backyard (Small Town Ontario)! Amazing Town. I had some free time and decided to do some exploring in Atikokan, this walking tour is a great place to start. There's an app that can guide you through the tour but I did the paper version since they are available in the museum, it was very interesting. The tour takes you through murals, artifacts, and displays all around the town center to explore Atikokans history. A lot of it focuses on mining but there is some other stuff too. I would recommend doing this right before or right after visiting the museum to get the complete experience.See more..
