The crashing waters of Niagara Falls—comprising two American falls and one Canadian—are truly a sight to behold. Get up close on a boat ride (be prepared to get soaked!), enjoy amazing aerial views from the Skylon Tower or on a helicopter tour, stroll along the White Water Walk, or hit the Journey Behind the Falls attraction that offers views of the falls from below and behind. Adventure seekers can also go zip-lining, jet-boating, hiking and cycling with the falls as the backdrop. For a truly magical experience, stay after dark when the falls are illuminated. For peak water flow, visit between June and August. – TripadvisorSee more..
5.0Horseshoe Falls(2.834 reviews) - Simply spectacular Spent More than 3 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Waterfalls
The falls are nothing short of spectacular. For a complete experience I recommend seeing the falls from the top via the skylon tower, walking alongside the falls, then taking the Niagara city cruises formerly known as hornblower. I highly recommend this day trip (all on the Canadian side). Tip: Expect to be wet, carry a poncho or buy one at the Table Rock Gift Center.See more..
4.5Kakabeka Falls(661 reviews) - A Must See in Thunder Bay Waterfalls
We have a week in Thunder Bay, and this was high on our list of things to see. The park is an easy drive from Thunder Bay, and well marked. There weren't many people there when we arrived, and it was easy to remain at a safe distance from others. The falls are very close to the parking lot, and are along a boardwalk. I didn't notice ramps instead of stairs, so those with mobility issues may want to check before going See more..
4.5Bridal Veil Falls(501 reviews) - Beautiful to see! Beautiful to swim! Waterfalls
Beautiful the see and swim!! We parked at the Billing’s trail in Kagawong and walked the kilometre in and saw the indigenous art along the river. Then we swam in the pool in front of the falls then under and behind. Wear water shoes. So pure and beautifulSee more..

4.5Inglis Falls(469 reviews) - Easy to find and easy to see Waterfalls
Of the local waterfalls near Owen Sound, this is the most accessible. A short walk from the parking lot and you are essentially right there. It is a very pretty falls and there are walkways that give you two distinct views. There is also an interpretive centre but it was closed when we got there. Parking is apparently $10, but if you go off-season there is no attendant on duty and since you pay using an online application, the parking is essentially free. A good place if you are going with someone with limited mobility who likes waterfalls.See more..
4.0Spencer Gorge Conservation Area(367 reviews) - Great views of Fall Foliage Spent 1-2 hours Geologic Formations • Waterfalls
From the escarpment brow, noted for its panoramas, to the forested depths of the gorge below, the Spencer Gorge Conservation Area exhibits the physical features which have made the Niagara Escarpment one of Ontario's most spectacular geological formations. This significant natural area contains two beautiful waterfalls: Webster and Tew Falls. Webster is a magnificent tiered waterfall and Tew, which towers at 41 metres, is only a few metres shorter than Niagara Falls. Both offer spectacular vistas of the gorge.See more..
The Devil’s Punchbowl is one of the Niagara Escarpment’s most amazing sights, created at the end of the last ice age by huge melt-water rivers that plunged over the Stoney Creek Escarpment, thus carving the Punchbowl and gorge. From the bottom of the falls, one can see the many different coloured rock layers of the Escarpment. The Punchbowl is the only area where one can view such a large vertical display of Ordovician and Silurian stratified rock. Some of the layers include Queenston Formation red shale, Cabot Head grey shale, limestone and shale dolomite. There is a spectacular view of Stoney Creek and Hamilton Harbour from the lookout, not to mention the view down into the seemingly bottomless gorge.See more..
4.0Albion Falls(253 reviews) - Parking situation is chaotic Waterfalls
There are three parking areas for the falls: one on the actual viewing platforms, another across the street, another by the Red Hill Trail. All three are crazy overcrowded with vehicles blocking each other. But we know why: while the falls themselves are no longer accessible and fenced off ($10,000 fine), the viewpoint alternative is actually gorgeous!See more..

I loved that late May had very few people and the weather was warm, but not hot. The ambiance of the water and wildlife was incredibly serene. Sable Falls was worth the walk through in the evening. We even saw a Beaver walk across the area we parked are car in. Totally relaxing and tranquil. Kit Wat Marina Motel was great. The room included free use of BBQs, a fire pit and canoes with Lifejackets too! It would have been better if Kit Wat Marina Motel also had an open kitchen, but my wife and I made due in nearby Sable Beach restaurants.See more..
4.5Duchesnay Falls Trails(216 reviews) - So Worth the Time! Nature & Wildlife Areas • Hiking Trails • Waterfalls
We always saw lots of cars on the side of Hwy 17 and finally had a chance to see what it was all about. We were not disappointed. The trails are clear and easy to hike. So glad we explored beyond the first falls we saw. The is so much MORE further up the trail. Be sure to hike at least as far as the iron bridge so you see both sides of the river as it branches and offers many larger falls of power rushing water as well as tree lined sections of babbling brooks. We will be sure to return in the fall!!See more..
4.5Scenic High Falls(196 reviews) - Been There, Must See AGAIN and AGAIN Waterfalls
Scenic High Falls, been there twice in a year's time, and I have to say I would honestly spend hours there, gazing at the water from all the different perspectives it offers. I haven't explored the Voyageur Trail that is found at the same location, yet I intend on taking the time next summer to do so, and also hiking to Silver Falls, also on the Magpie River. High Falls is most definitely a valuable point of interest, I wouldn't miss it when traveling near the Superior Lake.See more..
4.5Onaping Falls(191 reviews) - Great views and technical hike from alt parking Waterfalls
I started out on the A Y Jackson visitor center side. Quick easy walk to the viewing platform of the waterfall. This would be ready for anyone that can't bike or tires easily. If you want the best views and a good hike park down the road at alt parking and walk up the sand hill. This starts off with bike up the hill to somewhat groomed trail to the Bridge and other viewing platform. I would think most Paul's don't make it here since it is a bit of work. If you like to hike like I do and enjoy more technical hikes there is also a 2km loop just past the bridge. I ventured Down the rocks to get better views. I would recommend good shots for this as the rocks can get slippery even on days it has not rained. See more..

4.0Ball's Falls(142 reviews) - A "MUST" visit location Spent More than 3 hours Waterfalls
-5 C, sunny & not even a breeze while we visited Ball’s Falls Conservation & Historical Area. Had another great hike on fresh snow & the very few footprints told us that we were almost alone. The route took us along the top trail to the Upper Falls outlook where the mill once stood. The only evidence of a mill being there was a door through the brick wall leading down to the creek. The falls were almost total iced with only a small portion of the actual falling water being in the open. We took the lower route along the creek through the historical area to the lower falls. Again, the build-up of ice at the falls was quite picturesque and this time we could see and hear the falling water. Another area that we would recommend for a hike. The trails took us through the woods and occasionally the trails were steep but quite manageable.See more..
Stopped in here for a break and if you're in Bracebridge you have to visit here. Used the free parking on the southeast bank. There's a trail from there that takes you down to the river and the falls. I was here at a great time to see, hear and feel the power of the falls during the spring melt. The pathway was closed once I got to the second falls area as the water level was right up to the top of the concrete embankment. Great place and a must see.See more..
With long days driving through N. Ontario one needs breaks. Luckily I had read of this place online so we planned to stop. I have some minor mobility issues and the boardwalk shown in pictures made me confident I could do this. Just a short distance from the parking lot, you encounter the walk and wooden steps down to the viewing platform. Good sturdy metal railings on both sides ensure safety on the multilevel stairway. The view is amazing with the waterfall on the left and a VERY deep narrow gorge below. There were also families enjoying the spot. Hikes are also available from there but I cannot comment as we did not partake.See more..
Great place to stop along your trip. Nice little picnic area and a few shops to check out. Fishing is good right off the boat.See more..
4.0Jones Falls(75 reviews) - Challenging to find and challenging to get to Waterfalls
The entrance to the conservation area is not well-marked - I drove past it several times and had to stop to ask for directions. Parking was free but I was there off-season and the trails were still covered with solid ice. It is not an easy trail even if the ice was not there, so not for anyone with any mobility issues. I am not sure I got right to the best view, but I saw enough white water to satisfy my needs.See more..
4.5Hoggs Falls(72 reviews) - Great Hike in the woods with an awesome waterfall! Points of Interest & Landmarks • Nature & Wildlife Areas • Waterfalls
Great Hike in the woods with an awesome waterfall! The walk to the falls is short, but you can continue on if you want. It's a nicely made trail, it's well maintained, has a parking lot and I think a porta potty. The fall is amazing! You can see it well from above and if you want to go down, there's a rope to help you climb down and back up. My husband said it was slippery. I didn't go down. He thinks I made the right decision. He is more athletic than me. It's free to go.See more..
We viewed the Elora Gorge Falls from the Elora Mill parking lot and outdoor patio. The falls were so beautiful and the sound of the water, soothing. We walked into the parking lot of the Elora Mill, no parking allowed there unless a guest of the hotel. The outdoor patio was very pretty. See more..
4.5Cascades Conservation Area(62 reviews) - Fun and pretty! Nature & Wildlife Areas • Hiking Trails • Waterfalls
Very nice area even in the winter! Trails were open and cleared (if only be footprints ahead of us, not sure). Walked the quick path to the falls area in the snow. Still pretty! Nice outing for a morning walk! Probably gorgeous in the summer! Lots of moss and lichen on the trees. Lots of birch and Aspen. $5 parking fee.See more..
Just park at the end of dead end road and follow the river east on the path. Nothing is marked but in a couple hundred meters the path opens up to a beautiful river and waterfalls. No one else was there. We didnt find the caves I'd heard about but maybe next time.See more..
Cute and well maintained trails. We visited twice during our Huron County vacation; it was bikable from our lodging(Benmiller). The young lady at the cash gave helpful advise and dispensed band-aids(son fell from his bike). The trails were well maintained and attractive. The falls was lovely. I can't comment on the camping as we were day trippers.See more..
4.5Beamer Falls(42 reviews) - great place for a family hike Waterfalls
A variety of hiking choices for beginners, intermediate, and advanced hikers. You can begin at the lake at the Grimsby Pumphouse and follow the blue blazes of the Bruce Trail side trail all the way up the escarpment. You can also start from the top and have a relatively level hike that is safe for almost all ages. There is a great view of the falls from the east edge of the ravine (near the Scout house). The view from the viewing platform across the Forty Mile Creek gorge is spectacular all year round, but especially in the fall when leaves are changing colours.See more..

While staying in Carleton Place for 3 days, we took the opportunity to see the falls. Combined with a short hike, it was well worth the visit. Also the town is highly recommended to see. Along Mill Street you will find several small shops, restaurants and cafes. Nice, calm and enjoyable. See more..
4.0Healey Falls(30 reviews) - Respect Where We Live Waterfalls
I live at Healy Falls. This is not a public park that is maintained for the public to enjoy. That is why there are no garbage cans, picnic tables, and parking. Visitors have been disrespectful by littering, smashing glass, and leaving dog feces which has prompted the authorities to take more serious actions. It is definitely a nice to place to enjoy, but I am really sick of going down there and picking up everyone else's trash. There were upwards of 50 cars parking there everyday on private property...would you like 50 vehicles parked on you land each and every day? Please enjoy the Falls as they are and pick up your own trash. We love our mother Earth so show it!See more..
All I can say about Silver Falls is “wow”! My fiancé and I spent 4.5 hours on the trail and made it to the third set of falls before we decided to turn back. The trail is tough, with lots of ups and downs and many challenging obstacles (not for the inexperienced hiker), but it’s well worth it! It’s a bit difficult to find the trailhead, as it requires turning down a road leading to a hydro station. Due to the treacherous nature of the trail, I recommend stopping at Dog Falls (the first, and largest, set of falls you’ll find) if you’re not prepared for a challenge. The view is spectacular, and you can actually get close enough to the water to feel the spray on your face! It’s a truly incredible experience. You won’t regret checking out this hidden gem! 4.5Raleigh Falls(15 reviews) - Great stop on a long stretch Waterfalls
Raleigh Falls is easy to find on the internet, however the location is not exactly noted anywhere. The exact road it's on is called Raleigh Lake, about 20 minutes west of Ignace just off HWY17. A short walk leads you to some small yet beautiful waterfalls, you can stand exactly where the falls drop, or a small viewing pod after. Great little stop to see something and stretch your legs on the highway.See more..

4.0White's Falls(11 reviews) - Slow down or you will miss it Spent 1-2 hours Waterfalls
Relatively small falls just off the road, look for the ‘712’ on the east side of the bridge. Not sure if I’d swim there, it was a long weekend but no boozed up GTA teens to be seen, just a few quiet picnicers. Better than Big Chute though.See more..
I've been to Little Falls a couple times before but this was my first stop in the winter. The falls were almost completely frozen but there was still a small stream coming through which was a cool sight. The path wasn't cleared but it was still easy to walk across to the viewing point on the far side, not that the far side was even far. I'm looking forward to my next visit when it's fully frozen!See more..
3.5Bonnechere Falls(5 reviews) - A relaxing place to visit with great scenery. Waterfalls A worthwhile visit, especially for photographers. 4.5Fourth Chute(2 reviews) - Shh! It's a secret Waterfalls
A little off the beaten track (I can't tell you which!), this chute is a hidden gem and looks like it was man-made. Large, flat slabs of limestone form terraces on either side of the river, forcing the water through tightly before the river widens out again below the rocks. While some selfish ignorant has chipped out fossils from the rock, a couple do remain for an enchanting discovery. See more..
5.0Depot Lakes Conservation Area and Campground(2 reviews) - Great place to camp Spent More than 3 hours State Parks • Bodies of Water • Islands • Nature & Wildlife Areas • Waterfalls
It is a great place to camp, with sites quite separated from each other, great staff. It is far away from everything between Hwy7 and Kingston. When you get here be prepared with all necessities. To go on the lake you can rent canoes. One of the minuses red ants that really bite so get some spray with you.See more..
