Niagara-on-the-Lake Old Town is the most charming part (the Falls themselves are overwhelming) of any visit to The Niagara Peninsula. Take The Niagara River Parkway to its northernmost point and you have arrived. Be sure to visit the parks and old forts along the shores of Lake Ontario. We recommend the Golf Club's public restaurant and terrace. See more..

Picked up some take out from our favorite NotL restaurant, Niagara's Finest Thai, and ate al fresco waterside enjoying the cool breezes off the river even though it was an extremely hot day. Bikes passed by frequently. We walked for a bit and then drove another portion into NotL. Beautiful site. Some day will bring our bikes and go right up to Niagara Falls (hopefully at a cooler time of year!) See more..

    Olde Walkerville Neighborhood image
Walkerville was it’s own township until the 1930s when it merged with Windsor. Much of the historic olde town of Walkerville is still there though buildings have been renovated for new uses but the history and charm are still to be found here. One of the best attractions the city has to offer. See more..

I had the pleasure of visiting this neighborhood while visiting some friends. I was amazed at it's beauty. It has a bunch of really beautiful old buildings, cute restaurants, local stores, and a lovely river. I went to the farmer's market on a Saturday and was impressed by it. It's a smaller farmer's market, but it had really good produce and baked goods available. Overall, I found it to be a great area to visit with an interesting arts scene See more..

    Caledon Trailway image
Wow, what a lovely outdoor spot to enjoy the terrain, foliage and fresh air! This trail stretches from Terra Cotta to Palgrave with many entry points. It is wide and level with a solid base of compressed gravel. Good for walking, cycling, strollers, wheelchairs and I understand horses. We have only covered two sections so far but will be back to explore more and in different seasons. Lots to see and experience with the ability to socially distance. We will come to do the whole trail even if it means snow shoes when winter arrives. See more..
