The power of the waves
Seeing the power of the Niagara River and at the time we went the water was "low". The way the waves crashed into each other and the height of the waves, wow. The bridge they built gets you up close to feel the rush of the water. Amazing views and a great way to pass some time and see the river up close.

Watch the Rapids Dash...
Like many another thing in Niagara Falls, if you decide to do this you should purchase your ticket ahead of time. There will still likely be a line, but at least you can whip through it quicker. This is a boardwalk along the river with viewing locations and informational signboards. There isn't a guide or anything but you and the river and you can set your own pace. When I was there, I found it a quiet time to watch the power of the rapids and marvel.
