Hall's so one of those places we visit whenever we visit Ontario. Located in the quant town of Paris it has a lot to offer. Give yourself at least twenty minutes to go through the sore. They have great prices, selection and quality. They also sell fabrics and pillow forms. Great prices. We always come home with a dozen oversized tar towels and dish clothes. Visited the rock farm and had a wonderful time. The shop itself has some fantastic items and the people that work there are quite knowledgeable. The rock farm itself was the main reason we visited. Stayed there for hours and filled up 2 buckets easily with colorful stones, and was able to ask Andy and the others to name anything I wanted to identify. So much fun to muck around, even with the light drizzle and cloudy skies it was a fun day. Could've brought a hammer but wasn't needed, plenty of smaller rocks to choose from. I think we paid about 20$ for two large buckets of cool rocks. Planning to visit again soon.See more..

I believe we went on the last weekend of apple picking, so some varieties weren’t available, but that didn’t matter. We had such a great time. It’s really a great way to spend some time together as a family. It struck me funny that the farm was nearly surrounded by urban surroundings, but it was a lovely setting. We picked apples, and then picked out some pumpkins. We got a wagon ride around the farm, and then we explored the corn maze. A great day! We decided to stop here on our way to Tobermory. It is just outside of Thedford. The grounds are beautiful for a short walk. There is a little store to buy various souvenirs. You can taste test the cider for free and then purchase your favourites to take home. The kids had the nonalcoholic options and the adults tried the real stuff. The server was very knowledgeable about the apples and the different cider varieties. Their cider has won awards and I can see why. It was delicious and refreshing on a hot day.
