Last July my brother and I went to the Divers Den to get our padi open water diver certification. We were really nervous about it and we had an instructor that was not able to calm our nerves. We ended up panicking once we put the gear on and ended up bailing on the entire experience. We left feeling defeated and like failures. We reached out a week ago to the Divers Den to try for our Open Water certification again. They happily welcomed us back and honored our payment from last year. On the drive up Tobermory my brother and I were 90% convinced that wouldn't be able to do it and that our nerves would get the best of us again. That is when we met Bastien and Alex. They completely changed our diving experience. They could tell we were nervous and Alex told us not to worry we are in great hands with Bastien. Everyone talks about that wow moment when you first scuba dive and Bastien was able to make that happen for us. Right from the time the door opened at the shop to our final dive Bastien was able to not only calm our nerves but also understand all our worries and concerns. He was extremely patient with us especially knowing our experience from the year before. From his in depth explanations to his underwater fist pumps and hugs he knows how to keep you calm and guide you in pushing yourself to the the next level with zero pressure. His knowledge of diving is insane and he knows how to answer any question you ever possibly have. Bastien goes to your schedule and only as fast you as you want to go. It was an amazing experience and we never would have gotten to the finish line without Bastien. If he can teach us he can teach you too. Bastien is amazing along with the entire staff at the Divers Den. I would highly recommend asking for Bastien for your instructor. Always been a goal of mine to learn and experience scuba diving. I was very lucky to have a brilliant instructor ‘LEE’ Explained clearly, demonstrate and taught with great patience made me feel safe and had fun at the same time. I highly recommend anyone to be taught by him. I achieved my goal and got certified so happy.See more..
Went out with Larry on the Osprey for a couple of days. Very knowledgeable and made the diving easy and fun. I'm looking to returning when the water is a touch warmer and am sure I will be back on this charter. Well done to my hosts for selecting Thousand Island Pleasure Diving. The fact I was the only person with a non-Canadian passport did not cause issues for the dives on "The American Side" although it did take me longer to clear immigration before we could go get in the water. No bananas on the boat! Now running out of Ivy Lea as Caigers is a private facility now.See more..

One stop shop for all your diving needs. Under the new ownership my family and I have completed numerous courses and dive trips here. Excellent service with competitive prices. Excellent (very warm) dive pool onsite for training. If your not sure about diving, take the intro to scuba. Dave (owner) and the PADI courses will instil the confidence you need to enjoy. Safety is top priority. Our twelve year old daughter completed the junior open water in the fall, and just completed here first reef dives in Belize this last week. This would not have happened without Dave and his team. Their location also has a showroom with all the top dive gear and repair facility. If they don’t have it, they will get it. Highly recommend. My husband and I took her 13 year old grandchildren on a scenic boat tour with a stop at a quiet beach on Giants Tombs island. The owner of the boat prepared a wonderful barbecue.
