My husband and I did the two and a half tour and had a great time! Plenty of room to roam around safely. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with questions. Views were absolutely stunning. It is highly recommended that you bring your sunscreen and reapply if you are planning to spend time on the top deck! The whole experience was wonderful! As soon as you arrive, you are made welcome by the whole team. Great few days away, or excellent place for an extend summer vacation. Plenty of accommodations that range from a modest motel to grand waterside cottage. This area has something for everyone. Excellent swimming and boating, good hiking and cycling trails, scenic drives are nearby (1000 islands parkway, loyalist parkway in PE County)...and tons of beautiful places to spend time on the water... Decent parks and good eateries, wineries, cafes.....enjoy! See more..
Tour booked for three hour cruise with family (7 of us). Mother’s 99th birthday gift to us! It was wonderful, beautiful day to take in all the sites and loads of pictures! Going through the ‘cut’ was very interesting, only 17’ draft as picture shows above. Nice to sit and take in the scenery and relax. Staff was very helpful with our Mom as she uses a walker and finds it difficult to maneuver the gangway. At the end of the cruise they surprised us by announcing her 99th birthday over the com, brought a nice smile to her face. The ship is well appointed, safety issues gone over prior to departure, COVID rules followed and enforced, and staff very informative re history of the area. We highly recommend this tour! Different actors/characters who board the bus and you meet along the way, portray in an informative and humorous way, what life was like during the prohibition days. Once back at the "speakeasy" hall, we enjoyed a delicious lunch while listening to a band play music from the era. The actors put on a show after lunch that was full of music, LOTS and LOTS of laughs and singing. If you live in the Windsor area or are just visiting, we highly recommend this tour! A friend and I came to Kingston for a few days to celebrate Nee Years. We decided on doing the Tapas Tour with alcohol pairing, which turned out to be far better than we expected! Jessica, our tour guide, was fun knowledgeable, passionate, and funny. We learned the foods history along with the restaurant’s history but also learned fun facts about the buildings and the city itself. Spent a great day on the Chief, also our anniversary so a double bonus.French River cruise was really enjoyable as the scenery was simply breathtaking. The staff from the Captain on down were very courteous and professional at the same time. The only thing I can recommend would be perhaps an overhead awning of some sort, not sure if it is even possible to install, on the upper observation deck to mitigate a blazing sun on really hot summer days. Me and 2 other friends chartered Captain Ron to try muskie fishing on the river. For me it was my first time ever and let me say good lord to the mighty elusive monster. We went out on the pontoon boat which was the perfect vessel for the 9 hour fish it gave us room to move about comfortably and the day flew by with great stories from Captain Ron you have to ask him about Chuck hilarious. The three of us Adrienne, Penny and myself (Marc) had an absolute blast even thou the monsters from the depths eluded us for the day, the lunch was great an island fish fry with friends it dosent get much better than that. Cant wait to try again with Captain Ron. Just a top shelf day on the river.See more..

I had some free time and decided to do some exploring in Atikokan, this walking tour is a great place to start. There's an app that can guide you through the tour but I did the paper version since they are available in the museum, it was very interesting. The tour takes you through murals, artifacts, and displays all around the town center to explore Atikokans history. A lot of it focuses on mining but there is some other stuff too. I would recommend doing this right before or right after visiting the museum to get the complete experience.See more..
