4.0SilverCity Richmond Hill(101 reviews) - Excellent crowd management and comfy seats Movie Theaters
Although super busy n New Year’s Eve, and against my better judgement, I accompanied friends to the Andre Rieu concert on film and loved it. Even when large crowds are present Silver City manages them very well. Our auditorium was only about half full but I did manage to have someone constantly kicking my seat back and narrating the concert to her equally dense friends. I moved away from my friends to sit n the third row which was serene if a bit too close. I like Silver City. See more..
This theatre used to be our favourite place to go for movies but since the change over to Landmark it has gone down. You have to pick your seats when you go so you can not even hold seats when meeting friends. The food - blah and very pricey. It is not as clean. Do not even go to movies now because it is going downhill and for the money - you expect better.See more..
5.0Highlands Cinema(66 reviews) - So good we went back the next night! Speciality Museums • Movie Theaters
We ate twice at the restaurant, would have loved to go to the cinema, but just did not fit our schedule. We had fantastic experiences and food both times. The staff were really friendly, accommodating and efficient. We were lucky to get a table both times, would recommend booking. We had pretty much all the ‘tapas’ menu between us over the two nights, and would find it hard to choose between them, but would recommend the vegetable fajitas, salmon and artichoke, tatties bravas and the squid. The pizzas were really good too. Would highly recommend this as a family friendly restaurant. Thank you to all the staff!See more..

My wife and I took our kids to see a drive in while we were camping at The Pinery. We are drive in fans and this place didn't disappoint. The admission was great; $10 for adults and $2 for under 13. Screen 1 was a good size and had lots of parking. I like how they organized it so the SUVs, vans, etc. were in the back and the cars were in the front. Washrooms were a little rough, but nothing disgusting. This will become part of our yearly trip to Grand Bend. DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS DIRECTIONS. Punch in the address, not Starlite Drive In.See more..
Enjoyed our time here seeing Endgame. Seating is good so everyone can see. Ticket prices are reasonable, but the snack stand is way overpriced. See more..
4.5O'Brien Theatre(36 reviews) - Comfy Seats, Good Movie, Reasonable Snacks Movie Theaters My husband and I were staying at Calabogie Lodge and decided to go to a matinee at this theatre to see the latest Star Wars movie. Admission just $7 each. Beautiful old theatre with comfy seats and great acoustics. Snack prices are surprising! One small drink, one small popcorn, one small candy = $6. There were 3 other combos as well with progressive pricing but all very reasonable in my opinion. This theatre reminded me of the theatres of my childhood where I would watch a Saturday matinee. One of those with a few seats on the upper level of the theatre on either side of the screen sort of like a small balcony. No idea how you would get to them and they were probably there for stage plays not movies but it sure brought back memories. They have 2 movies showing at a time. I didn't see the other theatre which I assume is smaller. It looks like all movies are first run and they change them almost weekly. Very enjoyable afternoon. I highly recommend it.See more..
Great night out. Seats are comfortable, sound is great and viewing quality is good. However, everything including entry fee is overpriced.See more..
4.5Can View Drive In(33 reviews) - SAVED MY LIFE Saturday: 6:30 PM - 11:30 PM Movie Theaters
The Can-View Drive-In is the largest drive-in movie theatre in all of Ontario with four screens! Open since 1973, the drive-in is located in the heart of the Niagara Region. It boasts a large concession menu with a variety of options, including many that are vegan, at reasonable prices. In addition, every Wednesday during the summer, the drive-in runs one select screen with open captions. The Can-View Drive-In is the perfect place to watch movies under the stars with friends and family! Open seasonally from March until October (season length is weather permitting).See more..
4.0Sunset Barrie Drive In(26 reviews) - Fantastic experience Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Movie Theaters
I went to the drive in theater with my dad for the very first time this summer. I saw the movie "Jumanji, Next Level". The drive in was big and there was lots of room for cars to park. I really enjoyed that they had some mini movies like a Loney Tunes short before the movie started. I also really liked the old commercial for the snack bar and the mosquito bug spray. They had washrooms for customers to use. However, the bathrooms could use an update but they were clean. There was a park for the kids to play on but it was closed when I Was there because of COVID-19. The sound quality of the movie was great. I was able to see and hear the movie really well. Overall, I would give the drive in an 9/10. I would suggest checking out a movie if you want a nostalgic experience for you and your family. Thank you for checking out Grading with Brayden. Au revoir.See more..

4.5Skylight Drive-in(18 reviews) - Authentic & Fun Drive In Spent More than 3 hours Movie Theaters
We love the Skylight drive in! It’s well organized, clean, fun and the movie quality is incredible! The movies are posted well in advanced along with estimated start times for dusk. Prices are phenomenal for a family night out. The playground at the front entertains the little ones while you settle in a prepare for the movie. Sound and movie picture quality is better than my tv at home. In the lobby snack shack is the friendly staff ready to serve hot treats, popcorn, drinks, coffee, poutine (best in the valley) and candy. They take debit/credit or cash. The owners are fun & kind- they are willing to help with any questions! We love the drive in for a family night & our date nights. Can’t wait to go back again!See more..

The 12 seat Little Prince Micro-Cinema & Lounge is the Guinness World Record Holder for Smallest Cinema! The incredibly photogenic decor, which celebrates the Golden Age of movie theatres has been described as "Roaring Twenties suffering from a Victorian hangover." In addition to our antiquated screening room there is also a small "lobby & concession" lounge with soft-drinks, wine, craft beer, and spirits, as well as classic sweets, cinema quality popcorn, house-spun cotton candy, and of course our infamous Ludwig 2600 - a "faux-Victorian era" arcade machine, designed and built by us, and loaded with hundreds of vintage games. We host ticketed films alongside private screenings, birthday parties, family movie nights, girls nights, and so much more. Reach out for rental details, event opportunities, or suggestions!See more..

We attended the mid-night showing of the Garth Brooks concert. We were impressed by the organization of the cars for access for when the theater opened. The sound was great, and attention to social distancing was impressive and the washrooms were clean. We cannot fault the drive-in for when the fog rolled in...but that just added to the experience.See more..
3.5Galaxy Cinemas Orillia(13 reviews) - Great! Movie Theaters I love the Orillia Galaxy! Even with the longest lines, the staff fly through their customers. I always feel like I am served quickly, yet not rushed. I have yet to have a rude staff member and I always love my treats! I come in on a weekly basis, so glad Orillia has this form of entertainment. My only negative, food is too pricy!See more..
The theatre is very nice and comfortable mainly as it is fairly new. The shocker is the price of of snacks and drinks. To see the show was $12 which I thought was reasonable but the popcorn etc was outlandish. It was the first time that I can recall I didnt have anything while watching movie. My daughter had kiddie meal which was very expensive. The popcorn was really smallbut you did get the bonus of putting on your own butter.See more..

3.5Galaxy Cinemas Midland(6 reviews) - great way to see an eclectic movie Movie Theaters saw "Free Solo" as a special viewing and what a great film - comfy seats and perfectly typical viewing of a film but not your ordinary "blockbuster experience" - an enterprising way to bring people in and allow them to see less mainstream films.See more..

4.5O'Brien Theatre(3 reviews) - Wonderful Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters
The O'Brien Theatre-Arnprior is an independent theatre in the Ottawa Valley. While we share the O'Brien name with the Renfrew theatre, the owners are not the same. A major renovation in 1999-2000 added a second screen upstairs where the balcony once was, new paint, seats, heat, A/C, snack bar, bathrooms etc. In 2012 we added new digital projection equipment, and in 2017 the street was rebuilt and we got a new front step area with wheelchair access. We are open 7 nights a week for 7:30 showtime (Just closed on December 24 & 25 Christmas Eve and Day) open every other holiday. We have Matinees at 1:30 every weekend and school holiday. This includes all long weekends, March Break, Summer Holidays and Christmas Holidays. (we do not have matinees on PA or PD days when students are off, but teachers are at work)See more..
