Ups and Downs of a Wedding
We had a wedding on this boat! You can book it for special occasions and they do it up nicely with covers for the chairs, reorganized seating, etc. They even provide some nibbles to go along with the cash bar. There were 32 of us and not a one was unimpressed with the event. You travel through a regular historic lock, then go and down in the famous liftlocks in Peterborough. Your captain, Grant, is a great commentator, and gives loads of local colour and even an explanation of the locks that satisfies engineers. We took it as a regular cruise to suss it out and between the trip and the commentary, it was great. Only issue during wedding cruise was a bit of wind which made it a little hard to hear. Great fun, though.

Our Anniversary Cruise
This was an exceptional experience for our anniversary weekend. The weather was wonderful which set the stage for a great tour. Holley greeted us warmly when we arrived for our scheduled time. We called ahead to make a reservation and everything was seamless. We filled out the required Covid form which was simple. You are called to board the boat in an orderly fashion which was very well organized and was very quick. All of the rows are separated to allow for proper distancing. The captain was a very personable man who entertained the entire cruise. Everyone was kept informed on the history while enjoying the experience. This company should be very proud for how they are handling the situation as it was pleasant but you felt safe the entire experience. They have a full cash bar. Also their are some light snacks like chips to purchase. It was a nice fall day but the baileys and coffee kept us warm as did the fireball whisky to sip on. We brought a small blanket and snuggled in for the trip. Everyone on board did a wonderful job in their roles. We would most definitely recommend this tour for all ages. The pictures are beautiful and the history makes for an all around great day we will do this cruise again for sure.

Peterborough Ontario Liftlock cruise
The cruise up the lift locks and through Little Lake was very fun and informative. Captain Jodie and crew Michelle and Jenny were very efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. The boat was very clean and it was a great experience for my out of town and out of country visitors, who thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely recommend!
