We sailed with Captain Steve and crew on Thursday, September 1, 2022. It was amazing. We tried to book it last year, but; they were completely full so we were so happy to have the experience this year while we were in vacation in Eagle River. The lakes are so beautiful and the trip was a great time. We sat on top with Captain Steve and it felt like he was our personal tour guide which was really awesome. We saw eagles, eagles nests, other wildlife and learned about the area in a "new" way (from the water view instead of the road view). We came back on Saturday and listened to a fun band and enjoyed their delicious pizza and specialty drinks. I booked this as a fun way to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday with his three kids and me. It was a nice trip down the Fox; none of us had ever been on the river like this, which is part of the reason I chose this. Something different and relaxing. Weather was beautiful. Boat was full, and everyone was pleasant. The crew was amazing. Wish I had gotten names. The female (I know she was from Belgium) crew member was a lot of fun; wished my boyfriend a happy birthday and got our three kids up with the microphone to get the crowd to sing happy birthday. It has been over a year and still think of our vacation to Madeline Island. While we were on the island, Adventure Vacations rented out family a boat for the week and could have not been more impressed. Not sure where to start as everything they did was above our expectations. On our first day they walked us to the boat and went over every safety feature for the boat and then every other little thing we could possibly need to know, just in case. We started to talk about our plans for the week and they immediately took out a market and started mapping out good places, dangerous places and so much more. They cared more about our safety than the boat and it was impressive. Every night and every day they reached out to us to talk to us about the weather and where they recommended going just in case we had no idea ok where to go. Wanted to take advantage of one of the last nice, sunny days so booked a boat tour of the Chains of Lakes in Waupaca, WI. The Captain gave a running history of the area and the numerous lakes we cruised through. We learned a lot about the individuals and groups who built houses and retreats along the shores. We did get to see a few osprey circling above the trees, turtles sunning themselves on rocks and a heron just chilling on a pier. If you were quick you could also catch a glimpse of fish swimming alongside the boat. What a wonderful time spent on the lakes!See more..
Been coming back for 3 years! let's get it straight from the get go this is a river tubing destination + campground. As such it naturally attracts young college age folk who are having a good time floating and drinking along with people of all ages. Is this for family's with small children? probably not. Teens will love it and we enjoy watching everyone have fun. There is an area up the hill away from the noise which has seasonal sites at a great price which is MUCH quieter. There is a restaurant / bar and the food is reasonable in price. Property is well maintained clean and should you have any problems we have found the staff friendly and quick to respond.See more..

I went here offseason in June and it was a lovely cruise down the Wisconsin river. The capt/guide was really great and grew up in the area so lots of personal knowledge. Saw an eagle next with young eagle looking for mom to come home with supper and also later saw mom taking a rest at the top of a tall white oak tree. It was a great day to be on Lake Minocqua, and our guide, Chad, was incredibly knowledgeable of the area and very funny He was passionate about the city and the lake. We got to see an eagles' nest with babies in it and an osprey rocketing down into the water and catching a fish. The wildlife on the lake was amazing, and the houses were pretty impressive. On a side note, I accidentally booked the wrong day, and Chad was very accommodating to get the right day and time. I would highly recommend this ride.See more..

Overall a pleasant experience. The crew was friendly, the cruise enjoyable but the food was marginal. The food had been prepared well in advance and barely kept warm. By the time you made it through the buffet line and returned to your seat, your food was cold. Perhaps the Captain could have pointed out some of the sites along the way as well. Was supposed to meet RV Charter @ 5:00AM for fishing trip. Had a groupon for a 3 man fishing charter but they said "Boat does not leave the dock unkess there were 6 people" My two buddies traveled 350 miles for this trip. My sister and I went on the Bark River Tour. We had a fantastic time! The kayaks and life vests were very clean. Jon was on time to drop them off and was waiting for us at the end. He also had maps to show us so we had an idea of where we were going and what we could expect. I'd highly recommend this company! The Bark River had a fairly slow current and curved back & forth making it fun and relaxing. When we got to Crooked Lake, we kayaked along the shoreline where we saw fish, birds and turtles. At one point, we tucked our kayaks into the cattails in a cove and enjoyed the lunch we brought with us. It was so quiet and peaceful!See more..

Going under the Duluth Lift Bridge was the start of the day, (Really a neat experience!!) then we caught a bunch of trout and some salmon while enjoying our day on Lake Superior. Myself and four other friends booked a trip with Captain Alex on September 3, 2021. We were extremely pleased, and will be returning next year! We limited out with 25 fish, and he was absolutely amazing. His personality, and skill level are unmatched! We have fished on many charters, and I can say without a doubt this was the best. Alex responded fast, and was extremely helpful. As soon as I stepped on the boat, you could tell this charter was in a different class. The boat was miraculous, clean, and beautiful. Writing this on behalf of my husband - he booked a trip with a couple buddies in early September and hasn't stopped talking about it. Andy is knowledgeable and a great instructor. I'm probably a little too old to say "the vibe was dope" like someone below did :) but I know my husband really enjoyed the whole experience and the atmosphere, music, etc. If you don't have a really nice ski boat at your disposal or even if you do, book a trip. The Lac la Belle Historic Boat Tour was phenomenal! What a beautiful, fun way to divulge into Oconomowoc's rich history. I was born and raised in Oconomowoc and I learned so much that I never knew! My teenage boys and I fished wth Brad on the Harbor city charters. One of the most efficient guides I've ever used. Ran 14 lines, no snags, landed every fish effortlessly, and oh yea the auto pilot went out on the boat. We didn't know until On the way back in. Great experience with Joe and the Star Kissed Charter team. We cleaned up on lake trout even though the lake conditions were not great- very rare is Lake Superior mirror calm. Joe was very friendly, the fishing was good, the boat was very comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. You catch 'em, they clean em. Great way to spend 4-5 hours if you are in the Hurley/Ironwood area.See more..
