We really like this theater venue, close to home, easy parking. Deals for members include free popcorn (and membership costs nothing). Was here once when the movie stopped. YES!! This movie theatre has now reopened. It was closed for two years due to Covid. New owners (September 2022) are the Mann family. They are a young Montello family that continued this family friendly theatre. The movie prices $5 a ticket are historical as well as the concession prices. I took the historical tour of the theatre before the 7PM show this evening by one of the owners, Kerry Mann. Mr Mann and his wife Jen has a wealth of knowledge about this past Opera House/Theatre dating back before 1878. I highly recommend this theatre.See more..

My daughter and I stayed at the Washington House Inn then dressed up to see the Downton Abbey movie at the Rivoli. It was wonderful!!! The theater is run by the friendliest local volunteers. Tickets were $3.50 and we had a Snack box of popcorn, candy and soda for $4.00, so $15 for the 2 of us was a steal! The seats were comfortable and we had a wonderful time! I saw a movie here but it was freezing inside and I was sitting on my coat so I didn't want to get up. My friends said the same thing that they were freezing. The reclining seats are huge and comfortable. They have swinging trays for eating but you cannot push(or fold) the tray down when done so I pushed it slightly out in front of me because I was feeling boxed in with the tray. Then hoping no one would bump into the tray. You can order your food and drinks in the concession area or order them on your app. The concession area can be crowded so it is nice to order at your seat. There is a large bar area to meet your friends so you don't have to go into the theatre right away. Besides the trailers are 20 minutes long so no rush. The bathroom are clean and state of the art with the hand dryer part of the faucets…no need to drip water across the floor. It was a nice experience but definitely pricey compared to their Ridge and Majestic theatres that are close by.See more..
