    This is a great ride with huge drop offs and not for the faint of heart. You may need to portage in places but there are a couple of spots that are just rough. You need to be a strong swimmer and have a clear mind to take this ride, especially when the water is high. I've taken this trip three times and every time there is someone in trouble somewhere along the way. This is a great trip but you need to be ready for it! If you'd like to raft but want a smoother ride go on up a few miles and take Buettner's Wild Wolf raft trips. That is more of a "float" rather than a rapids situation. See more..

    We stumbled upon this spot while looking for a location to do a little skateboarding. We arrived early in the morning and enjoyed the solitude of the area. We enjoyed the empty and smooth roads as we took in the beauty of the place. We saw the gorgeous beach and took a break admiring the amazing fall colors reflecting on the placid lake.     The Young lady who checked us in, had no knowledge of anything, She couldn't tell you what time the tubes needed to be back, what time you should go in last. Couldn't sell the beer because she's too young. Thye nickel and dime you on everything but don't use the money to clean the bathrooms or shower house. The shower house is disgusting. No benches to put your clean dry clothes on. Every inch of the floor muddy. They charge you remove your own garbage. 30.00 upfront you get 20.00 back $10.00 TO REMOVE YOUR OWN TRASH!!!! RIDICULOUS. I will prob try Rivers Edge next time. They use the same river. See more..
