When I was here, there was one temporary exhibition and three exhibitions based on the museum's existing collection, and it took me a little over an hour to go through everything. All the exhibitions were very diverse and interesting, so I didn't feel like I was looking at similar things the whole time. Museum staff are all very helpful and friendly.See more..
I visited the John Michael Kohler Arts Center this weekend and was so impressed with the exhibits, the beauty and simplicity of the building, and the friendliness of all the staff I encountered. The gardens were also wonderful and there are lots of peaceful places to sit. I felt very safe visiting during COVID as the museum has great policies in place (limited entry, ability to make reservations online, hand sanitizer in each room, etc) and would recommend this amazing museum to anyone looking for some beautiful and thought-provoking art.See more..

Situated among the trees on a high bluff overlooking the winding Sheboygan River, The Waelderhaus stands as a tribute to the tradition of Bregenzerwald Province of Vorarlberg, Austria. This picturesque mountain valley on the western border of Austria was the ancestral homeland of the Kohler family. Located in Kohler, Wisconsin, Waelderhaus, or "a house in the woods," is a tribute to the architecture specific to this Alpine area. 4.5Anderson Arts Center(24 reviews) - Gem of the Lakeshore Wednesday: 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM Art Museums
Have been here twice and each time marveled at the wonderful art exhibitions (quilts/fiber art and paintings). It's a beautiful building that's fun to explore, and is remarkably fitting for an art museum. It would be a terrific location for a special event as well. The gift shop has a fantastic selection of jewelry, art, scarves, etc. by local artists, which benefits the center. The only downside is accessibility, which can be tricky upstairs.See more..

We had a wonderful visit. We first walked the new trail nearby then went in. The lobby was empty but we called the number posted and had the nicest man open the museum area which was well-lit, labeled, and displayed for easy viewing. We enjoyed the impressive specimens, world-class items! How cool to have these items which look like they should be in a huge big city museum right here! Thanks for making this display available to the public! It doesn't take too much time to see everything, and it's well worth your while to stop by!See more..

The tours here are free, but I always leave a donation. This is a really cool Swiss style house that is now a museum. The artifacts in the museum were owned and collected by a wealthy local man who loved to travel. Most are European, and some VERY old, but there are some from Asia and South America also. The value of these items must be priceless! I highly recommend this tour.See more..
