Our family went on the Santa ride. Santa was super friendly and engaging with the kids. He had tricks and jokes for the kids, and spent a significant time in the train car with the families. They also had a special car that was decorated, we were able to take lots of photos with Santa and sit in his sleigh. Everyone had pizza, soft drink, cookie, and hot chocolate. Pizza was a little more cheesy than we like, but easy to take off the extra. Great experience and we hope to go again. See more..

Admission lets you ride all day and memberships are reasonable. There are a nice variety of streetcars and interurban cars that once served nearby communities. I especially like to renew my acquaintance with the number 10 Wells Streetcar from Milwaukee. The museum offers a variety of railroad related items, especially aimed at children. The conductors are friendly and helpful with identifying points of interest along the way. You can get off at Mukwanago and enjoy the fares at the Elegant Farmer while you wait for the arrival of another street car in about an hour. See more..

Ride the Lumberjack Steam train to Camp 5 Museum Complex. The 15 minute ride takes you over bridges through the woods to the original Logging Camp. There you can explore the Museum of Logging history, the petting corral, nature center, slaughter house, nature trail, original Cracker Barrel Store, the Green Treasurer Forest Tour takes you through the woods. Enjoy a nice lunch at the Choo-Choo hut. Then ride the train back to the depot at the end of the day. Trains depart to camp 5 at 11, 12, 1 and 2pm. The returns run every hour until 4pm. See more..
