Dad and 3 boys, 18, 21 and 25 and we stayed at Peshtigo Cabin Pineview. We did Zip Line and Menomenee on Monday and Peshtigo on Tuesday morning. Great value! Peshtigo on single raft was my favorite, working the river for 3.5 miles and solo handling the big water; also a third less expensive than Menomenee. My next trip I am planning the Peshtigo 2-3 times on consecutive mornings and Menomenee one afternoon. The big rush on Menomenee was the same price I paid earlier in summer for flat water kayak on Rock River, so the value is incomparable, and will probably up the adventure and do the wild ride 4-man raft. Used them to shuttle for a trip from Sauk Prairie to Wyalusing. They were responsive and patient with my many questions in getting this setup. Shuttle was on time and efficient and they gave me VALUABLE info on river and camping conditions. The river was running high so the info was critical to having a safe and fun trip. My daughter needed a lot of driving hours and I have been eyeing a specific SUP (Liv2Fish) that is not found in many places in the Midwest. After some research I chose to drive up to Eagle River due to a couple conversations on the phone and great customer reviews. I am so glad we chose to buy from Jason at Wildwood Outdoor Adventures. They were good people with kindred spirits. We arrived late and Jason stayed after hours to get me all set up for the long trip home. My only regret is that the weather was really crappy and we were not able to spend more time. I felt like I made a close friend in the hour we were there! The Peshtigo River Outpost's rustic cabin and campsite were perfect for my group of 9. We took on the Menominee River rafting as a group of 9 with a guide at 9:00 AM on Saturday and the Peshtigo River solo rafting at 4:30 PM. Both trips were phenomenal, tons of fun. The solo rafting is fairly demanding, especially in July due to water levels. I would recommend splitting these rafting trips into two days and doing another activity (Zipline, paintball, etc.) in between. I went on these rafting trips 16 years ago with my grandmother and had the time of my life, and this time around sharing the experience with friends and family was just as incredible. 6 of us in the group ranging from ages 9-67, including teens ages 14&17. We were originally scheduled to do the Peshtigo but due to low water levels, Nick suggested doing the Menominee. Turned out great!! Jake was our guide and was excellent in all respects-engaging, knowledgeable, skillful and fun. I was concerned about our 9 year old but Jake had him kneel in the front of the raft during the strongest rapids and he loved it. It was the first trip for many of them and they loved it. “Nature’s waterpark” and so much more valuable for kids to experience it. And as an added bonus, we drove back to Silver Cliff and ate at Kosir’s bar/grill. Terrific. And our bartender? None other than Jake again.See more..

We had so much fun spending about 90 minutes floating down the Wisconsin river! The water was warm and the flow was perfect. The staff we excellent making sure we were going the right way and getting us at the end. If you are looking for something unique to do in the Dells - we were a party of 2 but there were several large groups all having a great time floating together as well - I highly would recommend this activity!See more..

A group of us stayed in two of the 2 bedroom cabins. When we arrived, the woman who checked us in was kind and helpful. The cabins were clean and air conditioned. Each of the rooms had a bonfire pit and a picnic table outside. The inside of the cabin also had a table that was capable of seating four. The camp site has one outdoor faucet outside to use for quick washing of hands or dishes. One of the cabins had a grill, but the other one did not. We brought a small grill just in case we did not- that was helpful. The cabins do not have restrooms in them, so we had to climb a hill to get to the restrooms/ showers. It was a close walk, but it was not convenient if you had to go in the middle of the night. Overall, we had a ton of fun + a great experience. There is so many options for things to do on the property and we had a great time. The staff was helpful if we needed it. I would definitely stay here again for another fun filled weekend.See more..

We had a group of 8 that rafted the Menominee and did paintballing. There are multiple paintball areas (Capture the Tower, King of the Hill, and a couple others). They made sure to cover the safety rules for rafting and paintballing as none of us had done either before. We had an awesome time and would definitely go back again. We couldn't have been happier with the cheerful knowledgeable service we received from Titanic. Owners Chris and Julie were patient and kind with our group of 21 kids and adults. Many in our group did not have much prior experience canoeing or kayaking, yet they took the time to answer our questions, give us a crash course in canoe safety. and help get launched safely. They went beyond the call of duty in giving us waterproof bags for our wallets and car keys, taking a large number of pictures from various vantage points when we left on our journey. They arrived at the agreed upon pickup location along the river within 3 minutes of our arrival, returned us to the parking lot and even offered to drop individuals in our group right next to our car. I've never seen such dedication and service in a canoe outfitter ever before.See more..

We were looking for a quiet, relaxing day on the river and Dragonfly Paddlers delivered. The route is calm and quiet, very easy for us paddling novices to navigate and with a lot of sunshine (be sure to bring a hat and sunblock). We saw turtles, an eagle, tons of dragonflies, and even a few fish jumping out of the water! The owners are friendly and welcoming and the entire process, from reservations to checking back in, was smooth and easy. I also appreciate that they took extra steps for cleanliness and sanitation during this time. We had a great time floating down the river. Monday was the time to go. We pretty much had it to ourselves. The staff was very friendly. Tube rental is $13/person for the day. You get a ride upstream, about 10 minutes and about a 3 hour float down depending on water levels. The river is much cleaner than it was 10 years ago; a lot of wildlife can be seen; we even watched an otter while we floated pass. No glass or Styrofoam container are allowed. There are showers/changing rooms by the parking lot. $1 for a quick shower.See more..
We planned a day of rafting for our family (mom, Dad, two 18 year olds and two early 20’s). Wanted a day on the river that was fun but not anything that required life jackets and helmets. We had a great experience with Herb’s - very efficient check-in and getting us out on the river. Rafts were in great condition and the “long trip” was perfect- it took us 4 hours or so and the rapids were exciting but not anything that we couldn’t handle. Got splashed a little bit but for the most part stayed dry unless you wanted to swim in the river. Got out at the designated spot and the van was right there waiting to drive us back to our car. We had a great weekend with Rick, Jackie, and Mitch on the Wolf River. I was nervous going into the weekend—I’m older and not super experienced--but ended up feeling super comfortable on the water and ready for more. We practiced major strokes, river reading, ferrying, peel outs, eddy turns, and running the rapids. Rick and company answered a million of my questions and accommodated me in every possible way. My husband and I live in the the far western suburbs and wanted to do something fun away from the hustle and bustle of Chicago and head a different direction. We saw the good reviews about Pec and decided we wanted to try this with the kids (9&11) & if we had time hit up Cave of the Mound too! The experience was very smooth all together. We got there at 10:20 and we were already floating in the water by 10:55! Drop off is super close to the business. Everyone was polite and we definitely would recommend getting a paddle no matter what- it just helps you move in general and always can help avoid a few branches from the banks here and there. We got back in about 3 hours 40 mins. Bring lots of sunscreen, a speaker, drinks and food and it makes for a great relaxing time! Just a chill, real life Lazy River!See more..

We have so many stories on how our Garmin has sent us down a rabbit hole. So we ended up riding the GoldWing down Adrain Hollow road which is a gravel, mud, and muddy water hole farm tractor road. Sooooo we pushed the goldwing into the weeds and walked a mile to find out that nobody goes down that road...because there's a nice paved road rite to the spot where the water head is at....aaaaaaahhhhhhh stupid GPS. Haley was running the "Y'allbe Tubin" show. She was very helpful, positive, and a problem solver. We got tubes and twine and were in the river tubing in no time. We had a lot of fun!! When we got out Tanner took us back to the water head and offered to take us all the way up Adrain Hollow road back to the motorcycle...we were thrilled!! For a youngster he handled that side by side like a pro and is a very safe pilot. Way to Go you guys!!!!!See more..
