VERY well done room. My group of 7 escaped from the kidnapping room. Good blend of puzzle difficulty and the group size panned out so that everyone felt as though they were able to contribute. Staff did a great job at explaining rules/safety features and had a great sense of humor. I especially liked the provided white board for working out clues, very helpful. We managed to escape with 5 minutes left on the clock so we definitely got out moneys worth. Definitely plan to check out more rooms in the future.See more..

We've done a few rooms as a family, and have made it out of all of them, so when we saw this place in Rhinelander with a reasonable degree of difficulty, we thought it would be a fun New Years activity - but kept expectations low. When the time expired, we only we had barely made it out of the initial room. The puzzles were challenging but when we were held up it was because of our own lack of logical thinking, not just difficult for the sake of difficulty as usually demands a hint. The owner was an escape room geek, which is a total compliment, as you could see it in the depth of the room.. I was reluctant as it is located inside a video arcade/go-cart track, however it was good and extremely challenging. We went on a Saturday at 5:00. They allow up to 12 people at a time, so you are not alone with your family. We were paired with some good "experienced" escape chamber adults, which I believe we wouldn't have had a chance to get out without them. Two minutes longer and we would have prevailed. Definitely need to be prepared to really think! Not sure if I would have paid full price, but the Groupon price was good.See more..
