5.0Wildwood Outdoor Adventures(162 reviews) - Road trip for a boat! Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Gear Rentals • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Stand Up Paddleboarding • Kayaking & Canoeing
My daughter needed a lot of driving hours and I have been eyeing a specific SUP (Liv2Fish) that is not found in many places in the Midwest. After some research I chose to drive up to Eagle River due to a couple conversations on the phone and great customer reviews. I am so glad we chose to buy from Jason at Wildwood Outdoor Adventures. They were good people with kindred spirits. We arrived late and Jason stayed after hours to get me all set up for the long trip home. My only regret is that the weather was really crappy and we were not able to spend more time. I felt like I made a close friend in the hour we were there! I have been enjoying my boat for over a year now and wish I lived closer to so I. Oils stop on and visit.See more..
5.0Rooted In Red Cranberry Tours in Wisconsin(36 reviews) - Cranberry Immersion Fun! Paint & Pottery Studios • Eco Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Wine Tours & Tastings • Day Trips
What an awesome time! We did the Cranberry Immersion Experience and Rochelle made sure to get the right pose so our family could have cherished memories forever. Everyone working there is so friendly and knowledgeable. They are excited to share information about their industry. The way they set up their store and waiting area for tours is so creatively done. Highly recommend this experience!See more..
5.0Minocqua Pontoon Cruises(29 reviews) - Must pontoon ride in the North Woods Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM Boat Tours • Boat Rentals • Nature & Wildlife Tours
It was a great day to be on Lake Minocqua, and our guide, Chad, was incredibly knowledgeable of the area and very funny He was passionate about the city and the lake. We got to see an eagles' nest with babies in it and an osprey rocketing down into the water and catching a fish. The wildlife on the lake was amazing, and the houses were pretty impressive. On a side note, I accidentally booked the wrong day, and Chad was very accommodating to get the right day and time. I would highly recommend this ride.See more..
4.5Backroads Safari(5 reviews) - A Safari from your own Car! Nature & Wildlife Tours
My family and I were looking for something new to do in Wisconsin and found Backroads Safari. It opened June 20,2020 and the website describes it as an experience for the whole family, where you can see "zebras and camels roaming freely, kangaroos jumping with joy, and vibrant macaws perched along the way . . . from the comfort of your own vehicle." The animals were easy to see and many of them came right up to the car with several, including an ostrich and Brahman cow, along with some donkeys, reaching their heads up to and into the car windows. They were gentle and friendly. Others, such as a camel and llamas were grazing nearby. Food for the animals is for sale on site, which was well kept and clean. We drove through twice, which is allowed on one admission, taking our time and spent about 90 minutes at the site. We noticed that we were not the only ones going through again. Highly recommended for animal lovers and people of all ages.See more..

Due to weather, we were able to change our reservation to the Neenah paper mill history tour. I'm so glad we did!! Nick did a wonderful job introducing up to Neenah, showing us around town, and giving us a history lesson. So many beautiful homes along Lake Winnebago. Thank you for a wonderful morning.See more..
Fishing here is one of my favorite childhood memories, so when I had the opportunity to take my nieces and nephews on an outing, this is where we went. It's even better than my rosy memories. The kids and I absolutely LOVED it! The atmosphere is perfect: lushly overgrown plantings and worn vintage structures lend it a romantic, woodsy air and make it feel very natural, not like stocked ponds, but more like natural woodland ponds fed by trickling streams. There are several ponds to choose from and all of them are stocked with a large number of good-sized rainbow trout. For a tiny price, the owner gave us everything we needed in order to catch our dinner, and showed us how to use it. After a little while, he came by to check on us, gave us some tips, and stayed with us until we'd caught a few. When we'd caught enough to satisfy us, we brought them to the fish cleaning shed for the owner to clean (included in the price) and weigh (you pay by the pound). It was interesting, an opportunity to learn about fish anatomy. If we'd planned ahead, we could have then ended our day with a picnic: there are grills on hand for you to cook your catch. We weren't prepared, so the owner wrapped our fish up with big bags of ice and a booklet of fun recipes for home cooking. Tip #1: somewhat seasonal/weather-dependent and far away, so call ahead to make sure it'll be open. Tip#2: would be a super place for a birthday party.See more..
If you're into shooting clays and/or hunting pheasants and deer this is the place to go. Their staff works very hard to make sure you enjoy your time here and get what you came for. They have a nice clubhouse with a big screen tv and refreshments as well as frozen pizzas which are delicious. Fun place to be if not for a couple hours or the entire day depending on what you're in to.See more..
