    - Smoking ruined it

We had a corner/end room. Very quiet, clean. Also it had a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. However, several times in the night, I woke to smelling smoke. I complained at the desk the next morning. I was told it was probably from the room across the hall from us. There is no smoking allowed in the casino or hotel. I was offered an apology but "nothing they can do about it." If they discover someone is smoking in their hotel room, the guest is charged $250 extra to clean the room. But nothing is offered to the person across the hall who had to smell it all night. Another issue we had was that there is no restaurant open in the evening--just a deli. It is a 20 minute drive to the closest restaurant. We like to gamble at this casino but I won't stay at the hotel again. See more..

  6. 3.5 Legendary Waters Casino (64 reviews)
    - Nice small casino in fabulous location
    Wednesday: 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM Casinos
    Legendary Waters Casino image
Legendary Waters just opened in September. We visited in Oct and rooms were only $79 a night plus there were some gambling and drink incentives provided. The casino is small but has a lot of variety. The hotel is beautiful with spacious rooms and gorgeous views of Lake Superior. It is close to the charming town of Bayfield, Wi with free shuttle trips into town (although the town is pretty closed up after summer season). The restaurant was not terrific. Some in our party had the walleye which was delicious; I had steak which wasn't the best. Breakfast buffet was just ok; good omelets and everything else was pretty average. See more..

Basic 3 star hotel. A little worn out but clean. Pool and exercise area are nice and big. The rooms themselves are small especially the bathroom. If you're there to gamble and just need a place to flop, it should be good enough. Nowhere near as good as other local casinos we stayed at. See more..

Love going here when I'm in the Northwoods, but it is very hard as it is not smoke free and it is real hard to breathe with everyone lighting up inside. Don't go as often any more. See more..
  12. 3.5 Mole Lake Casino (36 reviews)
    - Nice Getaway
    Casinos
    Mole Lake Casino image
Took a trip into Wisconsin to see the changing fall leaves. Stayed , ate and gambled at the Mole Lake Casino. Took advantage of their get-a-way package (as described on their web sight) and it worked out very well. The room was very nice, pool and hot tub are better than most, the food was average but very reasonable. The casino would be considered small, and most of the machines were older- but with the older prices, 20 , 30 cents etc. They have daily bingo and a couple of bars. We were able to play the slots for quite awhile on the free play from the get-a way package deal. In fact we did pretty darn good. Will do it again for sure. Note: November 1st they will be going smoke free. See more..

First visit here to this new property. It is very quaint and still small but everything is new. We also tried their restaurant and it was very nice. It didn't accomodate many people but they do take reservations as well. We tried the Prime Rib dinner which is offered on Saturday evening and it was great. The service provided by Danielle was also excellent. Thanks. See more..
  14. 5.0 Potawatomi Carter Casino (1 review)
    - Nice casino to visit
    Casinos
Nice casino…a bit small but they had many up to date slot machines. I saw only a few table games but there was room if you wanted to play. There is a self serve beverage booth and the bar is close by for cocktails & beer. Although I didn’t hear any big wins, we walked away ahead a few hundred dollars which was great ! Plenty of precautions in place to keep you safe (masks not required if you have been vaccinated). We aren’t from the area (was in town visiting family) but I’d definitely go back in the future.
