    - Amazing Facility
    Sports Complexes
    Pleasant Prairie RecPlex image
We were in from out of state for a swim meet and this Rec Center is phenomenal. It has so much to offer, is clean and really inviting. The lake with beach is beautiful with lots of fun activities. The pool is 50m and has lots of seating. Could have better lighting but the view of the lake is nothing like the dungeon pools we swim in. I'm totally envious of this facility. See more..

The fields are AstroTurf, making for fast moving ball in the rain and snow. It was also extremely windy. Very little shelter options between games. Had to pay for each person to get into the tournament each day, on top of paying team registration fee. They did have adult refs for each game. See more..

    Simmons Field image
Great time with the family. They really try to do everything they can to entertain all ages while the games are so long. Pay attention to the ‘beer batter’ I was able to get 6 drinks for the price of 3 by the time the night was over. There are even items for vegetarians to eat. Every seat is a good one. Great place to plan a work-outing. See more..
  9. 5.0 Herr-Baker Field (4 reviews)

The only thing they should add is more shading over the bleachers/stands. Otherwise the upkeep is phenomenal for this D3/Northwoods League Park of the Dock Spiders. A lot of food and drink choices to choose from. A lot of shade in the concourse and fans do well to turn out. Free parking as well! See more..

Located on the north end of town, this pool is the salvation of all who camp in the warm, humid, Wisconsin summers! Inexpensive daily admission ($3), blue water, diving board, spiral slide & zero entry...not to mention water aerobics sessions. Afternoon & evening swim sessions. Too small for lap swimming...but you didn't want to work that hard anyway. Nice, new pool with friendly staff. Worth checking out if you're in town for a few days. See more..
  16. 3.0 Beaver Dam Family Center Ice Arena (1 review)
    - Ice Skating Competition

Beaver Dam Family Center Ice Arena image
We have been coming to this rink for years now and I know everyone is doing the best they can with the facility they have but there are some things that really need to be addressed. The bathroom situation has to improve. The toilets/plumbing cannot handle everyone that is there for competition. Other than that without tearing down the place and starting over they do the best they can. See more..
  17. 4.0 Manitowoc County Ice Center (1 review)
    - Icy cold
    Spent 1-2 hours Sports Complexes
When we were kids, we would wait for the river to freeze to play hockey. Now Manitowoc has a great indoor skating facility. Wow, you can skate in the summer. Just watched a youth hockey game there last week. The kids really put out the effort. Lessons in figure skating and hockey are available. There are open skating times. Skates are available for rental. There are concessions available. If you like to skate, this is a fine place to pursue your hobby. Although I miss skating on a river; and occasionally falling through the ice, this ice center is a lot of fun. Hours are always changing so I would suggest calling before you go there. See more..
