We had an Absolutely Awesome Time!! Kristen, our guide and owner was very accommodating. The horses were Fantastic! Very well trained and wonderful with kids. We went on a whim, drove past and called right away, we were very lucky to have gotten in on such a short notice. The price was great for a 1hr ride. My trail guides made sure i was comfortable in my saddle, gave me great instructions on how to ride my horse, and took me (and my son) on a delightful ride that lasted two hours! Rosali & Gracie were the beautiful horses that gave us our ride. Wes was so kind to us and gave us a tour of the old downtown McFarland, Historic landmarks and a complete tour of his ranch. Jane took photos of us leaving the ranch for our ride and sent us the photos via email. 3 generation, ages 6-70, enjoyed a fun ride in a ver nice setting. The horses were well cared foe and the owners took care to match the skill level with the horse. The guide was very helpful and friendly. There was a second guise at the end of our group of 8 which was reassuring. It was a beautiful day. The rating would have gee. A 5 except for one incident that could have been catastrophic- there was a gun in a holster one one of the guides horses. The guide wasn’t on the horse yet but somehow the gun fell out of the holster into the ground. We were very fortunate that it did not misfire and strike someone or spook the horses as some of us were ready to start. Hopefully a lesson learned and extreme caution will br taken in the future not to allow this to happen againSee more..
