We are a relaxing and fun paint your own pottery studio located in Downtown Oshkosh! We do offer wood sign painting, life casting, camps, and other scheduled events so check our schedule on our website for more information on these offerings. For paint your own pottery you can stop in at any time, no reservations required, and choose a piece to paint (we have over 400 to choose from). Our pricing includes the paint and the firing and ranges from $10-$75, the average child spends $16 and the average adult spends $25. We can show you a variety of techniques and ideas to make your piece a masterpiece. We fire your piece and it will be ready in approximately a week, if it is done early though we can send you a text and let you know it is finished! All dishes are food and drink safe and can be used for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert! These is no age requirements for pottery painting, you can be 1-101 and have fun and we are always capturing baby handprints on platters or mugs. Heidi and John are wonderful passionate artists in the Mount Horeb art community. Heidi did a great job putting together the opportunity for making Christmas ornament with friends and family. The children really get into the process and love the results. It is a fun activity that allows your creative juices to flow. I did a few myself as well. Art Lounge offers so many options for art lovers, foodies, individuals, couples, or groups. We reserved a table for 4 that coincided with a large bridal painting party. Stacie made an exception for us and moved a table into the gallery area. They also accommodated our gluten free requirement as well. The gallery is a separate business sharing the space and makes for an wonderful atmosphere. Art Lounge serves Valentine Coffee and amazing in house created cheesecake, brownies and cookies during the day time, plus wine or beer with rustic Flatbread pizza or Charcuterie boards. Hwy 53 from Eau Claire to Superior, Wisconsin gets plenty of traffic from hunters, boaters, vacationers and tourists. Unless one has a particular reason to drive into the little village of Solon Springs, most people just drive on by. After all, there is very little tourist business-wise to stop here. There is some life to the town though and one of them is this sort of hidden pottery on a side street. The potter/proprieter/owner of this place is quite ambitious as he has a large variety of pottery ware for sale squeezed into two small rooms. Most of them are useful items, few are art pottery, though pottery is an art. Also for sale are whimsical metal wall signs, some nostalgic, some a little naughty. It appears that this is the potters home as well as the store and studio. The outside is a bit messy and even a bit smelly, but once you get inside, you will surely find something to buy.See more..
