I still marvel at the wall map of the Swiss cantons, the dollar bills stuck to the ceiling, the beer and cheese and friendly service. I got a combination sandwich with sausage and limburger cheese on dark rye -- tangy but delicious. Monroe is the only place in the world where this stinky cheese is made. Loved this little place! Visited on a Saturday and arrived just after they opened at 1pm. I would recommend it, because it got a lot busier. Highly recommend the Blueberry Train beer. I got a flight of six 5oz beers for $12. Not bad! They had free popcorn and peanuts in the tap house. Board games too. I really enjoyed chatting with the owner, Bill. He was really knowledgeable. Having been long time fans of Central Waters, it was nice to be able to visit. We had our teenagers and our dog with us. Due to COVID we were only able to hang out on the patio. The things we liked most were the super comfortable pillow top beds, the spacious quiet room, cleanliness, and the ability to exit the parking lot at the back and get out to the main road at a traffic light. The things we disliked were minor to us but here they are. I had to wait in line to check in, and wait in line again to get breakfast. If you get down to breakfast before 8 am it isn't bad. Also the pull out bed was very loud so we took the mattress off and put it on the floor. The last annoying thing was the glass shower door. No one else could use the toilet or sink while someone was in the shower. Whoever designed the bathroom obviously never tried to get ready with two teens. Overall it was a very good stay and I would stay here again because I value cleanliness above all else and the beds were amazing. See more..

We've eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. This visit with with my wife and my parents for dinner. I had the fried chicken - which my daughter declared the best fried chicken in the world - and I tend to agree. My wife had a pizza which she loved and parents had sandwiches which they ate every last bit. The parking lot is frequently full so we have had to park on the street a few times but even in those cases we were seated quickly and the service was fast even though they are busy. I had the chocolate peanut butter porter that was very rich and delicious followed by a brown nut darker beer that was also very stout and good. My son had a pilsner that was very good and some other more hoppy beer that did not fit our taste buds as well. We also had a root beer that was excellent.
