Had the honor of fishing with Captain Bryan and first mate Talon. We had a AWESOME Time not only catching fish, but having conversation and fellowship. I have been blessed to have fished years and can say with confidence our trip was probably one of the best and most memorable trips I have had. Captain Bryan has years of experience fishing these waters which I attribute to us catching many great salmon. Going fishing is more than catching fish, it is also about enjoying being on the water with others so are if you are looking for a quality charter go with Kinns sportfishing! Also I cannot say enough about the accommodations and housekeeping we stayed at the Harbor View condos for three nights they are beautiful three bedroom two bathroom condos with attached double garage very clean and comfortable beds. Had a great day out fishing with some clients. Couldn’t have asked for better weather and the fish were biting big time. Our group of 6 limited out with 30 fish and I was able to catch up with an old college friend Captain Travis Kornely and Fin N' Fly SportFishing. Took my (2) teenage boys out with Captain Cody in early August. Had an unbelievable time - started catching fish almost immediately. Ended the day 12 for 20 (most misses were our fault) with the largest being a king salmon 28 lbs and 38 inches. My freezer is stuffed with great tasting steelhead and king salmon fillets. Captain Cody not only helped us catch fish but was a great teacher - showing us why and how to catch Lake Michigan fish. My 13 year old granddaughter and I had an experience of a lifetime. Captain Scott was very accommodating in working with my granddaughter and in making sure it was calm weather His rates are really, really good. You can spend a lot more with the other charters but I doubt you would have a better experience 3 King Salmon, 2 Coco Salmon and 1 Rainbow Trout. The freezer is packed. Just returned home from my first ice fishing experience! Trophy Ice Fish made it a perfect day! Justin was there to pick us up bright and early at 0530. He was very comforting and patient explaining to me how safe I'd be 3 miles out on Green Bay! When we arrived at our shante he was quick to start the heater and after a quick instruction we were fishing! Husband was on fire with a 28 in walleye within minutes! Then it was off to catch white fish, another successful catch with a days total of 14! Back in time for another walleye and another success! Are were also served a delicious lunch! Had a great time fishing with Captain Tom. Going under the Duluth Lift Bridge was the start of the day, (Really a neat experience!!) then we caught a bunch of trout and some salmon while enjoying our day on Lake Superior. Tom was very accommodating to us and showed us the ropes on how to reel in the fish. Plenty of space on the boat to relax and enjoy the day. We will be booking again soon..... Cliff gave us an excellent fishing excursion on Lake Pepin, catching bass! He has excellent equipment from boat to lures, and is also an excellent fisherman and teacher! We caught lots of trophy sized small and large mouth bass. Hardly a minute went by without a bite or fish reeled in. Myself and four other friends booked a trip with Captain Alex on September 3, 2021. We were extremely pleased, and will be returning next year! We limited out with 25 fish, and he was absolutely amazing. His personality, and skill level are unmatched! We have fished on many charters, and I can say without a doubt this was the best. Alex responded fast, and was extremely helpful. As soon as I stepped on the boat, you could tell this charter was in a different class. The boat was miraculous, clean, and beautiful. Ive been going with Slam Dunk SF for 5-6 years and wouldn't think of going with anyone else. Steve and crew aren't just content to go to the same spots and try the same things everyone else is using. They are always trying different lures, tactics and spots to make sure you get you on fish. We’ve had Jeff as a guide for about 9 years at the Turtle Flambeau Flowage. He is the best guide ever. He always puts us on fish. He’s so knowledgeable about what is biting at what time of year. I was able to get out with Matt on a quick day for Small mouth on Lake Michigan. I had a lot of fun and we caught some nice fish. He is a very good guy. However, we wouldn’t be lying if we told you Chad & Mitchell get credit for the fact we had a great time! Great experience with Joe and the Star Kissed Charter team. We cleaned up on lake trout even though the lake conditions were not great- very rare is Lake Superior mirror calm. Joe was very friendly, the fishing was good, the boat was very comfortable, and the price was very reasonable. You catch 'em, they clean em. Fishing here is one of my favorite childhood memories, so when I had the opportunity to take my nieces and nephews on an outing, this is where we went. It's even better than my rosy memories. The kids and I absolutely LOVED it! The atmosphere is perfect: lushly overgrown plantings and worn vintage structures lend it a romantic, woodsy air and make it feel very natural, not like stocked ponds, but more like natural woodland ponds fed by trickling streams. There are several ponds to choose from and all of them are stocked with a large number of good-sized rainbow trout. For a tiny price, the owner gave us everything we needed in order to catch our dinner, and showed us how to use it. After a little while, he came by to check on us, gave us some tips, and stayed with us until we'd caught a few. When we'd caught enough to satisfy us, we brought them to the fish cleaning shed for the owner to clean (included in the price) and weigh (you pay by the pound). It was interesting, an opportunity to learn about fish anatomy. If we'd planned ahead, we could have then ended our day with a picnic: there are grills on hand for you to cook your catch. We weren't prepared, so the owner wrapped our fish up with big bags of ice and a booklet of fun recipes for home cooking. Tip #1: somewhat seasonal/weather-dependent and far away, so call ahead to make sure it'll be open. Tip#2: would be a super place for a birthday party.See more..
