Great day on a Great Lake

Had a great time fishing with Captain Tom. Going under the Duluth Lift Bridge was the start of the day, (Really a neat experience!!) then we caught a bunch of trout and some salmon while enjoying our day on Lake Superior. Tom was very accommodating to us and showed us the ropes on how to reel in the fish. Plenty of space on the boat to relax and enjoy the day. We will be booking again soon..... (The lift bridge was a bonus!)

    Good fishing trip
We caught our limit (which is actually only 3 each). We really took this fishing trip just for the experience and we were very happy that we did. Capt Tom was personable, knowledgable of the lake and how and where to catch fish.

    Great Fishing Charter
Captain Tom is the perfect guide. He truly knows the waters in the area of the Apostle Islands. He can read where the fish are while you are out. He can also read the weather and the clouds. We were out on a day with changing weather which is not that uncommon on the lake. Clouds that I thought were threatening he knew would stay off the water. The clouds I wasn't too worried about he knew would come across the water. He saw the changes in the wind and how the water was reacting amongst other things. He has great equipment to use and his boat is comfortable. We had four adults with us. I think he can hold more? Talk to Captain Tom to ensure he agrees. He does have a toilet onboard. Bring your own food and drink. There is room for a larger cooler. Bring clothes in layers. There was a heat advisory in St Paul the day we went out. I have to admit I was comfortable in my winter coat. The lake air is just cooler. I prefer to be comfortable.
