I love this small town and the Cascade fall is absolutely beautiful. The stairs down to the fall is closed and locked so you will have to walk around down the highway w 234 to the bridge by the St. Croix River, cross over to the trail, go to the river and follow the trail up to the fall. Or you could follow the trail to the fall which is a longer walk but regardless, it'll be worth it. See photo of the trail. I bring my children out for an adventure walk here once a year and it's not too strenuous for them. Usually bring a towel, swimsuits, and Crocs for the fall.See more..
We only did the Upper falls are people commented it was the better of the 2 and had less stairs. With knee issues it’s something we had to take into consideration. Potato Falls (upper falls) was .13 of a mile from car to viewing platform.. 130 steps down and up. There are a few platforms you can stop on on the way up or down if you need a break, There’s also handrails. This wasn’t bad for a great fall. It was 2 miles of gravel road through corn fields coming in at the end. Easy stop.See more..
4.5Veteran's Falls(18 reviews) - Easy Hike to Nice Falls Waterfalls
This falls is easily accessible (for most) from the parking lot. There are trails to a bridge atop a pretty little falls. We had a group of five family and friends aged 13-63. All enjoyed. See more..

4.5Goodman Park(13 reviews) - Beautiful Park Spent 2-3 hours Nature & Wildlife Areas • Parks • Waterfalls
We just moved to the area, and had to scope out Goodman Park to see if it would be a good weekend day trip. It's wonderful. There's a small playground area for younger kids, walking trails, a little fire pit pavilion. We have gone several times since our first trip and I plan on making many more trips this upcoming summer. See more..
This was our 3rd county park on the Enchanted trails tour and it was beautiful! If you plan to go to multiple Marinettte County parks in one day - just pay the $5 day fee at the first county park you visit and it works for all the Marinette County Parks. Trails, bridges, cabins and buildings they go back to the 1930s and the Civilian Conservation Corp. makes you appreciate the beauty and power of water. Falls, rapids, streams all part of the Peshtigo River! Encountered some trout fishermen. Facilities to rent on grounds. Some rough roads in and out of the park but all part of the adventure!See more..
This is one of my favorite waterfalls to visit. It's best in the early spring when the water levels are high. If you have a difficult time walking to the bottom of the falls, you can see it from the top. There is a trail leading off of the parking lot. The view is still beautiful, but it's not nearly as tiring.See more..
Such a beautiful place tucked into the forest! A mile to paradise. Not to bad of a hike if you really watch where you are going. Be alert as there are a lot of rocks and roots from trees sticking up on the trail. A few hills but if you’re in medium to good shape it won’t be a problem. Once you get to the falls it’s well worth it! So gorgeous!See more..
Wasted a lot of time trying to find these “historic” falls . The journey was hopeful yet never was satisfying. Actually, unless you want to trip or fall, I would go to a better spot. So not worth it. See more..
