Dreamcatcher sailing

We had a great time on Dreamcatcher, Brontae(sp) was an excellent captain. He shared his love of sailing with us while helping us learn about the art of sailing. We had great conversation while on board. We highly recommend this experience for anyone interested in sailing as a way to see the Apostle Islands.

    Perfect Trip on Lake Superior
We sailed with Captain Bronte on June 20th, 2020 from 9 am until 11:15pm. There were four adults and one 3 year old in our party. Bronte met us promptly at 9 am, gave us a brief description of the boat (the Rapture) and we were on our way. Dreamcatchers, and Bronte in particular, made us feel exceptionally comfortable with their COVID-19 safeguards. The cabin on the boat was closed, with the exception of guests being allowed to use the bathroom. We all wore masks until we were out on the open water when Bronte informed us he was fine with us eating and drinking during the voyage. Bronte was an excellent captain. He shared a lot of information about the Rapture, sailing (generally and several funny stories of his own), Lake Superior, the Apostle Islands, and Bayfield, without it feeling overwhelming at all. He offered to give us an overview of the sailing operations but we were fine just relaxing during the trip (two of us did navigate for awhile). It's also worth mentioning Bronte was fantastic with the three year old! She got into a few things and he was totally fine with her playing with most of the stuff she could get her hands on (e.g., rope, sponge), while quickly moving things she shouldn't play with (e.g., lubricant spray). I speak for the entire group when I say we would highly recommend sailing with Dreamcatchers. If we are ever back in the area, I'd sign up for a longer cruise so we could see more of the Apostle Islands. Due to the wind and short sailing time, we only saw Basswood Island on the 2.25 hour sail...but I expect Bronte would remind me here that sailing is about the journey not the destination. Dreamcatchers made that journey quite perfect.
