Last Hurrah of Summer (In September)
Wanted to take advantage of one of the last nice, sunny days so booked a boat tour of the Chains of Lakes in Waupaca, WI. The Captain gave a running history of the area and the numerous lakes we cruised through. We learned a lot about the individuals and groups who built houses and retreats along the shores. We did get to see a few osprey circling above the trees, turtles sunning themselves on rocks and a heron just chilling on a pier. If you were quick you could also catch a glimpse of fish swimming alongside the boat. What a wonderful time spent on the lakes!

Great fall tour
Beautiful scenery with great fall color. Captain was very knowledgeable about the area and answered questions people had while on the tour. Soda, Beer and Specialty Cocktails were available and were reasonably priced. Tour was not rushed and very enjoyable.

Highly Recommend
Had a nice, relaxing time on this boat tour. The captain did a good job explaining the history and highlights of the chain of lakes. I've been on some boat tours where the guide talked the entire time & it is annoying. He did not do this. There were 3 people in my group & only 2 more got on board with us, so we basically had the boat to ourselves. Would definitely recommend this trip.
