Another bad trip
Was supposed to meet RV Charter @ 5:00AM for fishing trip. Had a groupon for a 3 man fishing charter but they said "Boat does not leave the dock unkess there were 6 people" My two buddies traveled 350 miles for this trip. We had $'s into eats, hotel gas 7 the trip. Nothing like being embarressed in front of your friends-Do not book with this charter!

Great weather, great rooms, bad experience fishing
We had 16 people drive to Algoma from Minneapolis for three days of fishing. After day one we had only 2 fish for 16 people. Day two started at 3:30 AM and several members of the group asked their respective captain (we had three boats) what they were going to do to find us some fish. They were extremely upset that we would ask that. The customer service was totally lacking. The equipment is old and unreliable. We lost fish to broken reels, lines breaking, and a lost down rigger. There was no replacement for the lost down rigger. One boat had a toilet that didn't work, so we smelled that terrible odor for six hours. At the end of day 2 one of the captains made up a story of two people fighting on his boat so that he didn't have to go out for the third day. The remaining two boats caught six fish the last day. Algoma is a beautiful town with many nice places to stay and restaurants. The weather was perfect and our accommodations were great but the reason for the trip was to go fishing. Five members of our group missed out on the final day of fishing because Captain Zach (Pickle) didn't know how to provide a professional fishing experience.
