The theater offers a nice and more intimate setting for acoustic music. We attended a concert by Tommy Emmanuel that was outstanding. The site lines were good, and where we were sitting, the sound was excellent. There is a small bar at the back of the auditorium. The drinks were inexpensive and very little waiting for a large crowd.See more..

3.5Birchwood Mall(57 reviews) - Still Nice albeit Empty Sunday: 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM Spent More than 3 hours Shopping Malls
Strange, I was christmas shopping and thought I would stop at J C Penney to look for a few gifts. Although they just put in a sephora section- an Upgrade I assume, the store has less clothing, it was a mess with clothing items that looked second rate- the New Baltimore strip mall JCP had many items not seen here- and better displayed ( I realize it was christmas time shopping and took that into account). But I just get the feeling this store is on its way out. Getting second level materials to sell. We will see. It is struggling. Not much left inside.See more..

3.5Luna Pier Boardwalk(50 reviews) - THE thing to do in Luna Pier Spent < 1 hour Piers & Boardwalks
Wanted a nice place to visit on Lake Erie. Luna Pier is small, with a few restaurants and this beach. Parking is available but fills up fast on weekends and holidays. If you park where there is paid parking it is 4.00 an hour or gets a little cheaper the longer you stay. You will get a ticket if you dont pay to park. There is a nice little beach and the boardwalk which are both pretty small but if you’re from around here, there probably isn’t much else to do. People of all ages were here. We stayed about an hour and moved on but it’s a nice spot to get in Lake Erie.See more..

3.5Sycamore Hills Golf Club(37 reviews) - Golfing and driving range Sunday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Golf Courses
Overall this course is very fun to play. It will challenge the average weekend golfer. Greens Fees and cart rates are pretty good. The course has had a lot of work done to it (particularly last year) but it only made it more enjoyable to play. The staff are friendly. The only reason I did not give this facility 5 stars is because the driving range has mats instead of real grass (just a personal preference)See more..

3.5Northville Downs(34 reviews) - An End of a Great Era Sunday: 11:00 AM - 12:00 AM Horse Tracks
Northville Downs is a great place. But I heard the last time I was there they may be closing in November. No plans have been made for a new place for horse racing in Michigan. I went on friday which was dollar night. It was fun to watch the horses run. It was also fun to bet too. However the interior was old and beat up. It would not surprise me if they closed down since no renovations are being made. The carpet is 1970 royal blue and badly needs to be vacuumed and tables wiped. Overall the whole place needs to be cleaned but if it closes in november all of this makes perfect sense. It was said a new place would be found but as of now- nothing. this is why I believe when this place closes that will be it. New homes, restaurants and business will occupy the space. They will cost some big bucks too. All perfectly understandable too. I go because I want to say I went to the last race track in the metro area.See more..

There are plenty of descriptions of this from other people good and bad. This is our 3rd time and we always go in a big group. Tecumseh is a cute little town. The train ride is pleasant. We didn't see a lot of color change yet but it is so hard to plan around the fall weather. I think it is worthwhile as do my friends. It isn't exciting just a pleasant ride on a fall day. It isn't that expensive. Try it at least once.See more..

3.5Putting Edge - Novi(22 reviews) - Fun Time Sunday: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM Game & Entertainment Centers • Miniature Golf
Great place to take kids or adults of all ages. Mini golf with glow in the dark atmosphere is fun. The music can be loud, but kids don’t mind it. It’s much more expensive than regular mini golf, though this is an experience not to miss. If crowded, it takes longer to get through the 18 holes. It takes about an hour.See more..
We played Fieldstone last week and had a great time. The course was made tough by a two club wind but it did not affect our great day of golf. The course was busy so the pace was slow but the greens and course was in great shape. The pro shop gave us the July 1st Canada Day special which was nice because with the exchange on the dollar golf can be expensive. I would recommend this course for all players because it has multiple tees and lots of challenge.See more..
