We had the best time! It was a great family experience- my 7 year old niece and 10 year old nephew had a wonderful time and so did the adults. We made many memories and are already annoying our other family members with all of our fishing stories. Caught a bunch of different fishes- lake trout, steelhead trout, coho salmon, and king salmon. We fished the Pere Marquette River on Labor Day weekend during the peak of the king salmon run. Needless to say, we had a lot of company, and the conditions were less than ideal. Our guide, Darryl, was extremely knowledgeable and ran top notch gear. He put us on the fish and gave us the guidance to be successful. We landed a nice fish early and lost a huge one shortly thereafter. We didn’t put up big numbers but were one of the only boats that I saw catching fish. The fact that we landed one was 100% because our guide knew his stuff. Darryl is a no BS guide, so listen and do what he says and you’ll have a great time.See more..

Captain Matt is a great guide and will teach you alot about fishing the great lakes. He knows what he is doing and will show you how why and where to fish. If I was a fisherman just starting out I would book Capt Matt and ask him to just teach me the ins and outs of fishing Lake St Clair. I went to catch a good size fish, my first catch was a good size lake trout which set off the early morning very well(and a little tired reeling it in). Our group of four continued to catch a variety (lake trout, steelhead trout a coho salmon,a pink salmon and a walleye) over the next five hours!. The captain Herm and first mate Chris were quick to get the pole in our hands and inform us what to do to assure the best chance of getting these fish on board and in the cooler!. Could not have been better! Ready on time, Friendly, inviting, clan boat, very professional and expert fishing technique. The lake and weather were beautiful and we caught a lot of fish (14 between 4 of us!) Salmon, Steelhead, Lake trout, and Walleye. This was my wife and my fist experience and it was great. We will be doing it again. My brother and sister-in-law have done charters in Florida, Mexico, Hawaii and Michigan and they tell me it does not get better than this!See more..
Captain Jason and mate Jon gave us a great afternoon. Our group ranged from age 11 to 71. We saw other charter options in the area but very glad we used Two Hearted. Their experience and expertise in fishing and boating and local waters are unmatched. We came home with a lot of fish filets! I have been on fishing charters before, but none as pleasurable as this one. I was with a group of four friends and we were all impressed with the Captains knowledge of the area, where to fish, where the reefs are, what Michigan was doing to restore some of the breading areas to improve sport fishing. We all caught more than one fish and some of them were very impressive. I have already booked another trip later this year and I can not wait to get back out.See more..

5.0West Coast Sportfishing(1 review) - Great Time Fishing on Saginaw Bay Fishing Charters & Tours
My colleague, his wife, and I were in Saginaw for business and we decided to take a fishing excursion in Saginaw Bay one evening. We heard about West Coast Sport Fishing from someone in Saginaw so we decided to give it a try. We met Captain Ed at the Linwood Beach Marina which is just a few miles North of Bay City. The Marina has plenty of parking available. We set sail at about 5:30 and once we left the marina Captain Ed had 15 lines in the water. We started catching fish shortly after that. In a couple of hours we had enough fish (Walleye and Pike) to cook for dinner. We actually could have finished sooner but Captain Ed wanted to make sure each one of us caught a keeper. As we started to head in Captain Ed called a local restaurant (the Village Inn) and had it all setup for us to come in with our fish for "catch and cook". Captain Ed cleaned the fish for us and sent us off with our bag. When we arrived at the restaurant the table was all set, we gave them our fish and they cooked and served them to us. Ed was an excellent Captain and is an expert on catching fish in Saginaw Bay. He has thousands of lures on board and swaps them out depending on wind, sunlight, and time of day. He taught us all about the different fish that can be caught in the Lake and which ones were good for eating. His boat (Edventure II) is equipped with all the latest technology. We had a great time. Make sure you bring your camera. There will be many photo ops as the fish are being reeled in. I thought it my be cool on the bay in the evening so I brought a sweatshirt but it turned out to be warm and a short sleeve night. I'd check with Captain Ed before leaving as he keeps up with the weather out on the bay and he should be able to advise on the appropriate attire.See more..

We caught our limits and enjoyed the company. I've used several boat charters over the years, I rank this as the best so far. The boat is beautiful and plenty of space.
