What an awesome experience! The distillery tour was entertaining and informational. The tour guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable, broke down the entire process of making the various liquors, and made the tour very personal. After the tour, the tasting room was very fun. Mike and Jim poured the samples and explained how each product was made and what flavor notes could be tasted in each one. They also offered some custom mixed drinks that highlighted their products in various ways that were delicious and inexpensive. The Chipotle Vodka makes an incredible Bloody Mary! Every time I am up north I go to Northern Naturals. I am obsessed with their lavender cider. The ciders are all organic and gluten free! Kimber was so nice and very educated on the ciders and healthy living. They also have very low sugar contents. I haven't had one of their organic pizzas yet which is a warm weather thing as they cook from a food truck. Next fall they'll be hosting their second 5k fun day. Oh yeah, they also have a band shell and seating outdoors (summer) so you can enjoy your cider and listen to music.See more..
