Living Social Deal
Very impressed with the Ugly Dog Distillery. Went there because we got a living social deal for a tour and shot glasses, but left learning about their history and how their spirits are processed. I highly recommend visiting this place. Dewey was a great host. We will be back!

Visited on opening day!
This place was a lot of fun, but on opening day it was sooo busy. Not surprising! Would love to go back when it's not so busy. It was hard to get waited on, but I would assume that normally it wouldn't be this bad. Our waitress was super in spite of the busyness.

Ugly Dog Distillery - Who Knew?
We stopped to see what the curiosity was about the Ugly Dog Distillery. Beyond the unusual, and less than flattering name (we were told named after their dogs), they locally distill Vodka and Rum in Michigan. That's good for the local economy. Our innkeepers at the Waterloo Garden B & B raved about it - so too do we. We cracked-open the Rum back at home and was pleased with how smooth it was. Excellent!
