This is a nice non-denominational christian church. The people there are very welcoming to guests and the atmosphere is very casual. You don't have to get all dressed up to attend a service here. It looks like they have a great youth program as well. I saw all kinds of people from young to old there. The church was very busy but things seemed to be very welly organized. I found it to be a nice place to attend a church service and felt very welcomed to be there indeed. See more..

This is the location where the song, "The Old Rugged Cross" was first sung in its entirety. The church has been renovated beautifully and a garden established near it for a contemplative walk. If you do some advance planning, an interior tour is possible that also includes a nice museum. The interior is simple, but with an unexpected elegance and a fascinating history. Be sure to make a contribution if you are offered a tour. This church is a religious treasure. See more..

My granddaughter had her first communion at this church in April and we attended. Since it is a small parish masses are limited so if you are looking to attend mass you should check out website to see of any changes. The priest was very good and you could tell he was enthusiastic about his faith and sharing it with the parishioners. The interior is rather interesting with chandeliers for lights. The side alters had huge statues which reminded me somewhat of Rodin's style - big bulky. The interior was pretty. See more..

    - " Beautiful Church and A Great Pastor "
Spent 1-2 hours Churches & Cathedrals
My wife and I visited the St Mark Orthodox Church 2 weeks ago to attend a family wedding service. The Church is beautiful and very unique in it's architecture and services. The church was founded in 1980. Andrew Yavornitzky, pastor, has been the priest at St Mark's Church since 1987. Pastor Andrew was one of the most out going and pleasant Pastors I have ever met and talk with. The service he gave with the amount of passion and detail was amazing. The choir which performed during the entire service was very good at what they do also. If I lived in Rochester Hills, Michigan , I would definitely visit this church on a regular basis.
