An Unusual Style Church
The First Congregational Church is of unusual architecture for a Congregational Church. To my mind it is beautiful. Unfortunately the building is up for sale and I am concerned it will deteriorate. A state historical marker in front of the church gives the history of the church and on the other side a history of the city of Ovid. Alongside this historic church in an enclosed building with a large glass window in which an early buggy made in city of Ovid. The buggy belongs to the local historical society is on displayed. Stop to see the church & buggy and read the marker.
