    My husband and I stopped here with our young son on our way to St. Joseph. This is a very informative and clean nature center. The employees were wonderful with our two year old. I can't wait to return in the summer to see the butterfly exhibit. See more..

    We rented a double kayak and took the shorter trip down the manistee river. Highly recommend. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We were taken upriver and paddled back to their business. The river is scenic and calm. Unfortunately we got caught in a downpour and spent some time out of the kayak waiting for the storm to pass. But, you can’t entirely predict the weather. They offer overnight trips and we may do that in the future. I would rent from them again. See more..

Was my first time on a dogsled (and trust me, I can fall off ANYthing) so I was a bit scared, BUT Gina and Tim made me feel so comfortable and safe, It was the coolest thing EVER!!!!
