We had a good waitress, the food was good. Omg, the pepperoni pinwheels could have fed us all and then some. We enjoyed the elotes dip as well. The patio was fine. It was a but warm when we were there but there was a heat wave so it's to be expected. See more..

we stopped in there on a Friday evening, the place was packed, and even with just the one server when we walked in, we were still greeted immediately and served promptly! The drink I had was a imperial cinnamon hefewizen rimmed with honey and sugar. It was awesome! Had to have a second! we really loved that there was also free popcorn there. It was too cold to go outside so there was no outdoor seating, but we are looking forward to going back in warmer weather. While at a festival in Charlevoix, we had an opportunity to try see blood orange beer, which was also excellent!See more..

The owner did a simply superb job on rennovating this local landmark, and making it a full-on microbrewery. So far, the beer choices have been great, and everything I've tried (four brews so far) have been wonderful. Make sure if you visit you take the time to vist all three levels of this beautiful building. The place is certainly busy, and I hope it stays that way. The help is all wonderful, and very accommodating. Although typically not really a place for kids, we did bring ours along, and they had bottled soda (some unique flavors), and that kept them interested. They do serve some limited snacks, but do encourage patrons to bring in food from any of the many (very) local establishments. Definitely make a point to stop here!!See more..

New location in Reo Town area of Lansing at 1314 S Washington Ave. Went on Saturday night for their soft opening. For a soft opening staff was well trained and took orders immediate. Appetizer were great. Onion rings handmade on site and fried pickles. Both were very good. Pizza variety great. We tried three different ones and all were perfectly cooked. Had their desert beer very good. Raspberry chocolate stout flavor. Will go again.See more..

3.5Dearborn Brewing(20 reviews) - Good beer, good vibes Breweries
I stopped in here during a business trip in Notre area. I found a very welcoming atmosphere, friendly service and friendly patrons. It was trivia night. The host was entertaining. I tried a flight of four beers. All were good, but their 10W40 Stout was easily the best of the bunch. Try the peach honey basil ale. It’s a pretty unique brew.See more..
4.5Witches Hat Brewing Company(19 reviews) - Wish I lived close enough to get one of those cool glasses! Bars & Clubs • Breweries
Stopped by on our way back to Windsor from Lansing. Someone in our group had tried one of the NEIPAs at Hop Cat and loved it, so we wanted to sample their broader beer offerings. I enjoyed everything I tried, and I also thought their beer list was well balanced with a good variety of styles. I also thought the hand-blown glass concept was very neat. If I lived closer, I would definitely get one! This brewery goes not have food, other than popcorn and chips, but that was ok. We went to the Polish restaurant next door afterward and loved the food there, so I'll definitely have that same combo of beer and polish food next time I visit!!See more..
Our family visited the Newaygo Brewing Company a few days ago because we heard that the pizza was very unique and delicious. That was definitely an understatement! We have been to several “specialty” pizza restaurants but have never seen even one pull off such incredible flavor combinations! We ordered the special (Golden Italian Dressing, fresh asparagus and goat cheese ), the apple and barbecue pork, and the Mediterranean pizzas and two of us tried a couple of different beers. Everything exceeded all expectations!! The pizzas were outrageously deliciously, cooked to perfection, and unlike and other pizza that we have ever had. I cannot express enough how much I wish that we didn’t live out of state because I could eat here once a week, easily. The beers were fun and tasty , my favorite was called Hoppy Accidents. Our server Ryan was extremely courteous and knowledgeable and we just loved him. Cannot wait for our next trip to Michigan! We will be back See more..

Always a stop for my friend and I after a night of dining out. Absolutely the best brews around, hands down. The staff are more like good friends, they are outgoing and helpful. Stopped a few minutes after 3pm on a Friday as they were opening. Had a flight and a pint before purchasing a 4 pack of their Entropic Export Stout. Enjoyed 3 of the 4 in the flight and the pint. They serve their own food and happened to have a food truck that day as well. We did not eat but enjoyed visiting with one of the brewers and a few "locals" that obviously frequent regularly, Recommend stopping and give their beer a try!See more..
4.0Loggers Brewing Company(9 reviews) - Friendly spot for great range of craft beer Monday: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Breweries
This brewery is located off the main drag in Shields in a former church. Pleasant rustic setting with 12 beers on tap today, ranging from White IPA to coffee/oatmeal stout (breakfast anyone?). You can create your own flight of 5, or order by the glass. My favorite was the Woodtick stout. I give it 93 points. Friendly service. I stopped by to try a local beer and ended up staying a couple hours. The owners were delightful and helped me find some good food from a local pub to bring back to my table. They also had live music the night I was there so it was worth staying awhile, sipping on a beer or two, and listening to some good music. See more..
You know that feeling when you walk in the Apple Store and love the vibe. Then you're elated with your purchase....no matter how much you spent... because you know you bought the very best and are going to enjoy the heck out of your purchase. It's the same one as that first sip of Starbucks and you're so glad you didn't stop at McDonalds instead. If you are one of those Apple/Starbucks people, you get it and you know what I'm talking about. I can't describe the difference. You just know when you're in the presence of superb quality. It's here. The vibe. The taste of the beer right out of the Bright Tanks behind the bar. (If you're a Bud Light person, you just are and won't ever get it.)See more..
3.0Blues, Brews & Barbecue(4 reviews) - Last year was way better, but still had to check it out. Spent 2-3 hours Breweries
Last year it was much bigger and more BBQ places to buy food from, get samples of dry rubs, and enter contests. The Kansas City BBQ Society hosted it both years, but was not there this year. They did send representatives for judging and handing out trophies. There were only THREE BBQ cookers to buy from, and then carnival booths. There were carnival rides that looked out-dated. The grass in the carnival and BBQ area was not cut at all. The parking area was not cut either and used to be a field no one mowed. I had sandals on and stepped out of the car with my first foot and right into a picker plant that stabbed my foot! Not a good start to the day there. The food was not the greatest from the BBQ vendors.See more..
We stopped at Third Monk, and had an absolutely wonderful time here. This place is small and ‘homely”, but that also means very inviting. We sat at the bar, which was towards the back. We had an absolutely wonderful conversation with the owner, Jeff Robinson. Definitely make sure you take the time to talk with him; he is likely behind the bar! The beer was good...the Altbier that was on tap at the time was one of the best microbrews I had in a while! There isn’t a big food selection here; some snacks, and something that Jeff has cooking behind the bar. When we went there, it was chicken curry and rice in a crock pot...and it was wonderful. All in all, this was a great microbrewery experience, and I can’t wait to go back.See more..
