Friendly spot for great range of craft beer
This brewery is located off the main drag in Shields in a former church. Pleasant rustic setting with 12 beers on tap today, ranging from White IPA to coffee/oatmeal stout (breakfast anyone?). You can create your own flight of 5, or order by the glass. My favorite was the Woodtick stout. I give it 93 points. Friendly service. No food served, but they do have catering truck outside on some days. Nice to have a craft brewery in Saginaw.

Do you like beer? Are you in Saginaw?
Look, if you like beer and you are in Saginaw, or even close to Saginaw, why are you not here? Let’s start with the setting, very nice place to enjoy a beer(s). Loggers is in a quiet place, easy to access from the Tri-City area. The building itself and the ambiance is great, I really enjoyed my beer drinking experience while I was visiting Loggers. Now, the service. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit Loggers twice as I have been in the area twice on business. Both times I have been blown away by the service I have recieved while visiting. During my first visit I was one of the only people enjoying the fantastic beers (more on that later), because of this I was lucky enough to hear the history of the brewery and learn about each of the beers on tap. Enough about non beer stuff man, what about the beer? Fine, I will tell you about the beer. It is great. Period. During both of my visits I have tried a wide variety of beers at Loggers and not one of them dissapointed. The brewers clearly know what they are doing and they are truly dedicated to their craft. If you are even a casual beer drinker or a pro like me, Loggers is going to have what you like, what you need. Bonus: If you are there when it is not busy, ask to hear the story behind the naming of the Electric Squirrel IPA...Legendary! Are you at Loggers Brewing Company yet!?!

Craft beer.? Yes. Food? Maybe.
Craft beers are locally brewed and reasonably priced. They do offer can beer for to-go purchase. No food or snacks unless you visit when they have food truck dates/hours. Average service. Inside table and chairs are impeccably done. Logging theme. Lodge type room that could be loud if it was crowded. Outdoor drinking area has plastic tables and chairs and a picnic table and could use a little work. Side lot parking. Don’t blink or you’ll drive right past the building. I would probably return if I was in the area.
