A very interesting factory tour of the Chelsea Milling Company. Takes about an hour, which includes an introductory film about the family-owned business since 1901, then a guided tour through the factory. Our guide was Thomas, very friendly and knowledgeable, and he did an excellent job, explaining the creation of the original jiffy mix, the family history, the evolution of the plant from a small flour mill to a sprawling factory, shipping jiffy mix throughout the U.S., and explaining the steps in the manufacturing process. And we were even given a gift bag at the end of the tour. It was well worth the time.See more..

Northwoods Wholesale Outlet: Always a adventure when you stop in they have an incredible amount of inventory. You never know what you will find in this massive warehouse some incredible good deals, some just dollar store stuff and always thousands of camping, hunting and outdoor gear. Well worth the drive to Pinconning MI. just stop in every time your in the area the inventory is always changing, plan on at least an hour just to wander through the store. I don’t think I have ever left the store without buying something. I highly recommend taking a trip to Pinconning MI. and check out this Factory Outlet type store some great values and always puts a grin on your face.See more..
We stopped here on our way home. This looks very large from the outside. Once inside, the retail space is small because it is a working cheese factory. Most everything for sale is cheese and cheese spreads. There are some non cheese items but for the most part they sell cheese. The cheese is excellent and so are the prices. The day I shopped there were 4 for $10 sales in a couple of the cases. And plenty of cheeses to sample. If you like quality cheese and fair prices, you won’t be disappointed if you stop here. They have one of the largest selection of cigars and keep them in a very humidity controlledwalk through humidor. It has been a woolen mill since 1894. they still make items from wool to this day in this location. My wife bought a few things to take back with us. Employees were very helpful and friendly. This shop is a big part of local history for Frankenmuth.See more..
