I'd recommend parking in Lot 1 (Mackinaw City) so you avoid the lack of shuttles to get you to other lots upon your return to the city from the island. You might consider going up to St. Ignace to cross as it's closer to the island and may be cheaper (don't quote me on that part). However, we had very little to complain about.See more..
