The Toonerville Trolley and Tahquamenon Falls Riverboat Tour to the falls was a beautiful and relaxing way to spend our day. First, the approximately 35 minute train ride through forest and bog habitat yielded cranes, eagles, and numerous other birds (not lucky enough to see a bear...). The two hour boat ride to the falls also provided amazing scenery. We had burgers from their on-board grill and were pleasantly surprised. They allowed approximately one hour 15 minutes to hike to the falls; this allowed us plenty of time to hike to both the upper and lower (much prettier) view of the upper falls. The return boat and train rides were also enjoyable. The captain's commentary was spot-on the entire boat trip; we learned so many fun and interesting things. We would do this tour again in a heartbeat. See more..

There are plenty of descriptions of this from other people good and bad. This is our 3rd time and we always go in a big group. Tecumseh is a cute little town. The train ride is pleasant. We didn't see a lot of color change yet but it is so hard to plan around the fall weather. I think it is worthwhile as do my friends. It isn't exciting just a pleasant ride on a fall day. It isn't that expensive. Try it at least once. See more..

Kind of boring ride through trucking warehouses, sams club, never made it to Quincy ( 3 miles short) Neat whistle, steam 110 smoky from Tennessee . 605 comfy leather recliner, only sell out 75% of capacity. Grandkids would like, not too long, an hour. Will look through depot if not too crowded See more..
